Erron Black x Emperor's Daughter (P.2)

*(Y/n)'s POV*

-"D-Dad! What are you doing here?!" I shrieked, covering my body with the covers laying on the bed. Don't he know better than to just barge in like that? God! He quickly shut the door behind him, not caring that I was laying half naked in my bed.

-"I just want to talk to you before you completely leave my sight. This will be a big thing, you know. I and your mother were the first of our kind to cross paths. You and Erron will be the second couple to make a hybrid. It makes me happy to think that an Osh-Tekk and a human can be together."

Dad walked over to the edge of my bed, sitting down. I let out a low groan, still hiding myself with the covers. He could at least have knocked on that damned door.

-"Listen dad, it's not such a big thing! A lot of couples have children every day. I don't see you bragging on about them," I muttered as dad's eyes stared at mine (e/y) ones.
-"But it's the fact that it's a hybrid! You do know what I mean. If there is anything you need help with, then just tell me."

-"Always," I replied as dad stood up, taking a step towards the door. "Hey, do you know when Erron will return?"
Dad had "recently" sent Erron out on a mission alongside D'Vorah. I wasn't too happy when I got to know this, but there's nothing I can do about it. I have that one feeling that D'Vorah's up to something bad.

-"Probably tonight, when you're asleep. Erron will be there when you open your eyes. Everything the two of you will need has been moved over. I'll leave with you when you're ready." With that, dad left me alone.

I never imagined a man like him, would be as overprotective as this. When he got to know the news about me being pregnant with Erron's child, his presence has been beside me each day, his questions being about nothing other than me.

Now I and Erron has moved just outside dad's land - to get a more peaceful place to live, since our child will arrive at the end of this month. It's estimated to arrive in exactly two weeks from today.

I let out a deep sigh as I pushed the covers off me. I scooted out of the bed and onto my feet, walking to my closet. I picked the first clothes which I managed to see, and luckily they were big ones.

The fact that Erron is on a mission right now with D'Vorah, is unsettling. I have never liked that bug. She's unworthy of her place among dad's ranks, but I can't do anything about it. As long as she doesn't betray him, it won't be necessary to kill her. I just don't want her close to my child.

When I was done in the bathroom, I made my way down to the dining hall. I quickly grabbed whatever my line of sight managed to see, heading back upstairs to my room.

The previous house I and Erron moved into, was "mysteriously" burned down. I already know D'Vorah did it in hope to kill me, but now I'm finally going far away from her.

During the last two years - since the rebel attack - my powers have grown and I had officially surpassed my father's powers.
Since my sun powers surpassed his, he moved on to his blood powers. When my child surpasses mine sun powers, I will move over to blood powers, while dad will move to the war powers.

I lightly sighed, sitting down on my bed once again. I don't feel for moving away, but I have to do this for the safety of my child.

When the sun lowered behind the horizon and the night came around, my new home was finally done. It was cleaned, the furniture was in its place. Everything that was missing now; was Erron.
