This could be a symbol for how the media and her fans are constantly watching and have access to everything she does, even the personal parts of her life that she wishes were kept private.
In an Instagram post earlier this week, Gomez mentioned she will be performing "Wolves" at the AMAs this Sunday, making it her first performance in over a year. In the post, the singer shared a video of herself practicing vocals with the caption:
