Braeden wasn't even drunk and he brought a girl back to his dorm in the university– it was the closest place to them. The door was open, and Braeden's hands were tangled in the girl's hair. Desperate catches of air were muffled around and Paige saw everything. She knew Braeden wasn't like this, but it was a very unusual thing to witness. He never brought girls home and snogged them, and Paige couldn't take it. She tried to stop it, but Braeden only protected the girl, saying he's known her since middle school and they have had a thing before. Paige got her car keys, her phone, and her jacket and soon was gone.

     She didn't know Braeden's secret.

A year passed, and Paige was back in town, looking for Braeden's forgiveness, and that's when she got the call. Her mind going back to that very moment when Braeden had told her that she would know his secret on the same day his mom would call her. Paige thought about Braeden, and he eyes grew wide, her tears grazing off her cheeks; she realized that now... she was going to find out what Braeden's secret was.
