some people are scared
of an alien invasion
but i say let them come
because we're not doing too great
on our own.
some people say
aliens don't exist
but i say the sky is too vast
for it to be just us.
some people scoff
at the idea of aliens
but i say that it would be
a pretty lonely universe
without planets to save
new friends
and wild adventures
too vast and exciting for this world alone.
