30

55 14 1

i count
steps
back to
where it
all
began.

one;
i was
selfish.
me,
me,
me,
it was
always
about
myself.

two;
she
suddenly
appeared.
and then,
i began
to
think:
me,
you,
me,
you,
you,
my life
went
curve,
and
changing.
why?

third;
you,
you,
you,
i
realized
a pit
was below
my feet.
i was
falling,
falling,
and kept
falling.

and my
unconcious
mind said,
"you love
her."

i smiled at
the thought.
sure
i was.

third;
i was
at her
doorsteps
with a
rose on
my hand.
i will—
no,
must
tell you.
for so
long,
i kept the
feeling;
love.

then as
words
spilled
from
my lips,
i see,
you
were'nt
listening.
and
realized,
you were
talking
with
someone
over the
phone:
it was
your love.

i'm
too
late.

and that
was
the end
of
my
heartbreak.

i guess
there
isn't
story
afterall
and
everything
about
us
is
about
friendship.

the end.
