she began with
letter a,
i continued
letter b,
we alternated,
then she
started to
sing letters
l, m, o, p,
she laughed,
we danced as if
we're insane,
she ended
the alphabet
song with
a chuckle,
–why'd you asked me
to sing the alphabet?
she asked,
–why not?
i asked back,
–we're 18 yet you
you wanted me to,
so what's the point?
i chuckled,
–alphabet isn't
all about forming
words,
you just have to
sing every
single letter,
because each letter
that spills from
your lips,
makes the whole
alphabet
a wonderful
sentence.

i pusheb my lips
toward hers,
and so we
began the
beautiful
story.
