Jamie's P.O.V
My day is going off " great." Lottie has that something special. This morning she was late, I was mad at her. That was until I saw her walk in. She looked like she was about to die, she was sorry. And then I wasn't mad at her anymore.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when Lottie walked out of the side room. She wasn't wearing what I expected. Yes sure I was the one who gave her the clothes, but I gave her leggings- ELLIE! Ellie has this thing for taking things without telling anyone, especially chocolate.
" What are we doing for training?"
" Nothing, yet." she walked over closer to me in confusion. I lifted her wrist and pulled off a hair tie. " Turn around." I waved my finger around so she could get the idea. She turned around. I pulled the hair tie off my wrist and started pulling up Lottie's hair. She flinched every time my fingers ran through the roots of her curly blonde hair. Her breathing got steadier every time I had to pull up more hair.
" How long does it take for you to make a pony tail?" what? I then realized that I wasn't really putting her hair in a pony tail, I was just running my fingers through it. I finally put her hair in the pony tail and stepped back.
" Sorry, you had a lot of tangles in your hair."
"Sorry. You never answered my question. What are we doing for training?" I forgot about that.
" Shooting practice." I said. Lottie groaned. I gestured to the guns, bows, and arrows. Targets were hung from the ceiling and propped up around the training room.
" Come on! You were late, I had the right to choose what we're doing."
Lottie was okay at shooting. She kept aiming too low or too high.
" Your doing it wrong." I walked up to her and a took a closer look.
" Lottie aren't you right handed?"
" Yes. Why?" something isn't right.
" Aren't you right eye dominate?" she's using her left hand.
" YES!" Lottie shot another arrow as she shouted. Once again she missed the target. I took the bow from her left hand and then put it in her right hand. I stood behind her.
" Now, draw the feather fletching all the way to you cheek." she pulled the arrow to her right cheek. I put my right hand on her shoulder.
" Good, now see how your arm is a little low?" she nodded. " Raise your arm up so that you could see the tip of the arrow in the center of the target. Almost like its touching it." she raised her arm up slightly. " Ready," her breathing quickened. " Aim," it steadied out. " Fire."
Boom.
The arrow was smack dab in the center of the target. I removed myself from Lottie and ran over to the target to retrieve the arrow. I pulled the arrow out of the target and held it up.
" You underestimate yourself too much." she really does. Lottie had this look in her eyes. A look that suggested that she felt bad.
" I'm never going to be as good as you though." idiot.
" I had more practice than you. I've been doing this my whole life. You've been doing this for a couple of months, and you've only done shooting twice before. Keep that in mind." I looked over her shoulder and saw an apple.
" Do you want to test something out?" I had an idea that could maybe help her with aiming.
" Sure. What is it though?" she looked at me in a sense of confusion. I walked past her and grabbed the apple.
