I go to the living room where my family waited for Bella. I go to stand by Jasper since Alice was rushing around. "Feeling okay?" I question, raising an eyebrow as I plant my feet next to him. I look around the room as I say this, spotting all the candles and breathe in softly.
I could smell her blood, but mostly I could hear her heart pumping. But her blood was softened by the overwhelming smell of candles and the flowers that were placed on every tabletop. "I'll be fine." Jasper replies, though i'm not sure if I believe him.
I fix the curls in my hair, fixing the waves I had curled into my naturally straight hair.

I didn't see the point in celebrating her birthday. What were we going to do, celebrate her every birthday until she dies? That wouldn't be too long if she keeps causing trouble.
I mean if I had a choice i'd just drop her into Victoria's hands. But no instead Victoria wants Edward, which I don't think she'll ever get her hands on anytime soon. But I did hear something about her being chased around by our feral neighborhood mutts.
