My Enemy and I

Chapter 3

I had one of my recurring bad dreams and woke up in a really bad mood this morning. I got out of bed and went into the bathroom and got washed up, brushed my teeth and got dressed. I walked out of the room putting my sunglasses on my head and grabbed my bag then went downstairs, the boys were all sitting at the table I rolled my eyes and got an apple out of the fridge and sat down next to Nate 

"Good morning Ali" Nate said, I didn't answer just looked at him then bit my apple 

"Whoa someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning" Tj said trying to poke fun at me 

"Shut up Tj I'm not in the mood" I looked at him with a scowl on my face and rolled my eyes 

"Ok then I guess I won't ask" he said throwing his hands in the air 

"Ask what?" I said somewhat interested 

"I need a favor" he asked twiddling his fingers

I narrowed my eyes at him "What kind of favor?" 

"Umm well I'm going to see my girlfriend and the boys need a ride to school, so-" 

I cut him off "No no no no I'm not taking these monsters to school they can walk" 

"Come on Alicat please please please" he begged 

"Ok alright just shut the hell up" I said standing up

I walked to the garage getting into the car while John and Nate ran to the other side of the car arguing about who was gonna sit in the passenger seat. Isaac rolled his eyes and just opened the door sitting down in the seat. I shook my head at how childish they were being as John and Nate grumbled and pouted about that not being fair. 

First stop was Nikki's house, I honked the horn and she came out. Once she got in the car and looked at the boys 

"W..why are t..they h..here" she asked stuttering

I turned around and looked at her "Nikki why are you stuttering?" She just shrugged her shoulders "Ok" Then I started driving again.

 I drove to Jenni's house and honked the horn, when she came out it looked like she had been crying because her face was dried up with the tears that had slid down her cheeks. She got in the car and didn't say anything, I didn't want to bother her so I wasn't gonna ask now. The ride to school was so silent that you could hear a pin drop, when we got to school everyone got out except Isaac 

"Why aren't you getting out" I said staring at him 

"I don't want to" Sitting back crossing his arms across his chest

"I have to park the car" 

He looked at me like I had said something so stupid "I'm not stopping you" 

"Fine, whatever I'm not in the mood to fight" I rolled my eyes and parked the car. I grabbed my bag and got out of the car then started walking when Isaac came behind me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I looked at him "Get off of me" I was beyond annoyed 

"Is that anyway to treat your boyfriend" he said with that smirk and loud enough that people looked 

"Ha you're funny I will never want to date a player like you" Taking his arm from around me 

"But you would date that Timothy guy" he stopped in front of me 

"Yea I would because he doesn't abuse me like you and-” I stopped myself short of telling him something he doesn’t need to know “never mind forget it" I said walking around him
