My Enemy and I

Chapter 11

Today was the dance and I was so excited, I jumped out of bed so fast and ran downstairs and into the kitchen. Isaac was sitting at the table drinking some coffee when he saw me he looked at me like I was crazy "Why are you so jumpy today" he asked 

"Because today's the dance and I'm so excited" I said then sat on his lap, he laughed then kissed my nose 

"Ok well I'm hungry wanna go to Ihop " he asked

I looked at him and nodded my head. I got off of him and went upstairs to get in the shower and change out of my pjs. I walked downstairs when I was finished getting dressed. We got in the car and drove to Ihop. When we got there we sat down and looked at the menu, we were having an amazing time just the two. We ordered our food and it was delicious. I had the make your own omelete and Isaac had the split decision because he didn't know if he wanted toast or pancakes. When we finished our food we went to the park and just laid in the grass in silence just enjoying each others company for awhile until my phone started ringing 

"Hello"

"Ali, where are you the dance starts in two hours and we're waiting for you and Isaac outside your house"

"A hi would be nice to Eb"

"Sorry, but Jen is freaking out"

"Why didn't she call me"

"She said she didn't have her phone"

"Oh, ok well Isaac and I are at the park we'll be there in a minute"

"Ok" 

I hung up and looked at Isaac "Well looks like we have a dance to get ready for"

He chuckled and stood up. He held out his hand and I took it. We got back in the car and drove over to the house. When we got to there we let everyone in then the girls and I rushed upstairs to get ready. It was like a mad house in my room. Nikki is over by the vanity doing Eb's hair, Jenni is doing her makeup. I'm over here trying to paint my toes, but when we finished getting all dolled up, I have to say we were some beautiful looking girls. We all walked downstairs and the boys looked at us 

"Wow you guys look good" John said 

"Thanks, now lets go" I said and we left. We all piled into the car and rode to the school. We got there and could hear the music from outside, the girls squealed as we walked in and when they saw the dance floor the girls dragged me to it. I laughed and we dance for awhile then I saw Isaac standing with the boys, so I went over and grabbed to come dance with me. As soon as we stepped foot onto the dance a slow song came. I hummed the song and laid my head on his chest as we danced across the floor then the principal came on the stage

"Hi, students I hope you're all having a good time. Now I don't know about you, but I think it would good to hear a song from our lovely Alexis" he said and everyone clapped. I was amazed that he would even ask for me to sing again, so I went on the stage. I thought it would be a great opportunity to actually sing with Isaac, so I motioned for Isaac to come on stage and he shook his head no I smiled and did some puppy dog eyes until he gave in he came up. I told him wat we were gonna sing and he agreed, then we sang Right by my side by Nicki Minaj and Chris brown. When we finished and everyone clapped, I was tired so I went to get something to drink, then someone wrapped their arms around me, I turned around and kissed Isaac on the nose 

"You sang beautifully" he said and I blushed 

"You didn't do half bad your self" 

He shrugged "Well you know how I roll" 

I rolled my eyes "Mhmm what ever big shot"

Tina came strolling over to us in her tight ass dress which looked like a hookers outfit. "Hey Isaac, you wanna dance?" 

He looked at me and I shrugged "I don't know Tina" he said

She glared at me "Come its just a dance, I'm not gonna do anything" she smiled evilly 

"You better not or I'll beat you up" I said 

"Are you sure you're Ok with this" he asked and I nodded

They walked to the dance floor and I found Nikki and Jenni sitting at a table "Where's Isaac" Jenni asked, I pointed to the dancer floor. "You actually let that thing dance with your boyfriend" Jenni said 

"Sadly yes" I said 

"Well you better keep a eye on them" Nikki said

I looked at them and Tina was trying to dance all close to Isaac. It kinda made me laugh at how uncomfortable he was, but I just rolled my eyes and continued to drink my punch. After about 30 minutes of me just sitting I was starting to get tired, so I went to find Isaac and Tina was still trying to pull the moves on him. I wrapped my arms around him and he turned around so fast that I almost fell

"Hey Ali, you look tired?" he said trying to escape the situation

"I am tired. You ready to go?"

"Yea I'm so ready, well see you later Tina" she growled and I stuck my middle finger up at her

We all left the dance dropping everyone off and when we got back to the house I went right upstairs and put on my pajamas. I was so tired I didn't even take off my make up, so I climbed in bed and fell right to sleep
