My Enemy and I

Chapter 18 part 1

I woke up the next day to my phone ringing like crazy, I rubbed my eyes to see who it was and it was Jenni so I answered 

"Hello" I said still half asleep, then I heard sobbing 

"Ali, you need to come home right now"

"What why?"

"Its Tj... he got hit by a truck this morning" I gasped and felt tears come to my eyes 

"Ok, I'm gonna tell my mom and be there in two hours or less"

"Ok, but hurry the doctor said that he has a slight chance of making it, so please"

"Ok, bye"

"Bye" 

I hung up and ran into my mom's room, she was still asleep. I shook her vigorously she jumped up and looked at me "Ali babe, whats wrong?" she asked wiping the tear that slid down my cheek 

"We have to go home right now" I said frantically 

"Why?" she had confusion written all over her face

"Tj's in the hospital he was hit by a truck" I felt my throat burning with tears 

"Oh my god, lets go" she jumped out of the bed and downstairs, she ran to the car when I remembered Eb and the guys. I woke her up and told her what happened she said that she'll be fine staying here, I nodded and ran out to the car. My mom was driving like a maniac, once we got to the airport we really didn't have any luggage so we just boarded the plane. We got back home in a hour and a half, she got to the car and drove to the hospital, when we got there we saw Jenni, Nikki and the boys. I walked over to them and engulfed Jenni and Nikki in a huge hug 

"What room is he in" I asked as we released 

"146" Jenni said and I nodded my mom sat next to Nikki and she was consoling her "Mom, are you coming" 

She shook her head "You go first, I need to just breathe" 

I turned around and walked to the room and when I got there. I pushed open the door, Tj was laying in the bed looking lifeless which made me want to die. I walked over to him, sat down next to the bed and put my hand in his. I looked at him and just started talking to him "Tj, please wake up you're my brother and I love you. You can't leave me not yet, you haven't seen me in my prom dress or got to see me walk down the aisle or watch me give birth to your niece or nephew please you still have 30 maybe even 40 years ahead of you. And you were right like you always are I might finally get my chance to be a famous singer" I said quietly while still holding his hand, I rested my head on the bed then felt something tug.

I looked up and saw Tj's eyes open "I wouldn't wanna miss any of that stuff either and I love you too" he said

I smiled "So, you heard what I said" 

He nodded slowly "I always knew somewhere in there you would chase your dreams" he said, then my mom came in 

"Oh my god my baby" she said then hugged him lightly 

"I'm gonna be outside" I said and they both nodded.

I walked out and closed the door behind me. I slid down the wall and buried my head in my knees, then I felt someone sit next to me and wrap their arms around me. I looked up and saw it was Isaac "How you holding up" he asked 

"I'll be Ok, but I'm just mad that a dumbass most likely a drunk person would do that"

"Well to lighten up your mood I like your pajamas" he said and I giggled
