•Riel's POV•(i know quite shocking)
After the electricity problem, my parents and the other leader went out to check on the barrier.
If you're wondering, the 'leader' includes my parents, the zieglers, the orlandos, and the leblancs.
Right now there is me, by bro Hayden, Annie, and Carson in my house.
Yes, Annie and Carson is here, their parents didn't want them to be alone in their house so they brought them here.
It has been about 4 hours since our parents left, we were worried cause the barrier is not that far away from here.
What took them so long?
H : isn't it weird that our parents are not back yet?
R : yea, i was thinking about that
A : what took them so long?
R : i'm starting to get worried
C : they're probably just getting food or something
Carson said while turning the tv on
R : you really think they would be out getting food in this situation?
C : hey, i'm just saying
A : how are you my brother? We don't even think alike.
Annie said face palming
Our parents left at 3pm and now it's already 7.48
Then my phone starts to ring
My screen reads 'Jasper P🔥❤️'
Jasper has been my crush since like middle school. So i was kinda excited that he called.

*phone call*
(JP : jasper park)
JP : hey ry, how u doing?
R : i'm fine
JP : is there something wrong? U know i'm here if u wanna talk
R : no, it's just that the leaders including my parents went to the barrier but they're still not back.
It's been hours
JP : don't worry, i think they would be fine.
R : how could u be so sure of it?
JP : i mean, they're our leaders for a reason. If something happened they would've fought and won. So don't worry
R : yea, i know
JP : well, talk to you later then
R : bye
*end of phone call*

*2 hours later*
H : guys i think something not right
R : i think so too
A : should we check the orlandos?
R : i think we should
C : you guys are worrying to much. They're fine
H : how are you so calm?!
C : cause i just am!
A : just shut up carson!
R : let's go
After we went outside
R : Hay, give me the keys
H : what? No!
R : let me drive
H : no, i'm driving
I just sigh and get in the shotgun seat. Since i know there's just no point of arguing with him
H : were here
Me and Annie just ran to the front door
R : Lauren? Laura? Johnny?
A : you guys home??
K : jeez, you scared us
Then Hayden and Carson trailed behind us
La : why are you guys here?
H : our parents went to the barrier literally 6 hours ago
A : and they're still gone
J : ours too
L : do you guys think something happened?
C : we don't know
La : i have a plan
K : what is it laura?
La : what if we all stay here and wait for mom and dad to come home, if they're still not back till midnight, were going to tell mr. Montrage
R : why mr.Montrage?
A : cause he's the only one who would know what to do
J : ok then, were all staying here tonight

•Kenzie's POV•
L : well, the boys take John's room and the girls will be at mine and Laura's room
K : so what do we do now?
R : we wait
Everyone else just nod and went to the living room
J : i'll play some movie, what should we watch?
K : a quite place!
La : no!
L : conjuring?
La : no!
J : annabelle?
La : no!
C : insidious?
La : no!
A : paranormal activity?
La : no!
R : the exorcist?
La : no! What's up with you guys and scary movies?!
We laughed at her
La : what? I don't want to watch a scary movie in this situation!
J : ok, ok, jeez. What do you wanna watch then?
La : Harry Potter!
We laugh again
L : seriously? We watched that like yesterday
H : yea, that movie is like long gone
K : but it is a good movie
La : finally, someone with the same mind
A : i don't like Harry Potter movies
Annie said making us look at her weirdly
La : what?! How can you not like them?! They're literally the best!
After what felt like hours of Laura giving a speech about how good Harry Potter movies are, we decided on watching Stranger Things on netflix.

Everything was going great, then all of a sudden the lights flickered on and off
R : whats going on?!
K : stop please, i hate it
I said scared
La : no no no no no
L : what is this?!
We were scared cause the lights wont stop flickering on and off.
Then it stopped
We all just look at each other scared
It was all silence until Laura said something
La : guys! I think something did happen
J : what?
K : what do you mean?
Laura just looked at Lauren.
The both of them then nod like they understand each other.
J : stop it with the twin telepathy and tell us
La : John, Kenz, you guys remember what mom said earlier today right?
K : yea?
J : your point?
Then Lauren talked
L : she said this had happened before, and when it did, the dark magicals broke the barrier
A : so you think they did it again?
La : yes, i mean if they got caught last time, wouldn't they try to do it again?
R : and now that the leaders are gone...
H : were doomed
Then it went silent, i can tell that everyone is worried
It's 11pm
K : one more hour, then we tell the principal
J : yea, but we can't just call him at midnight! We need to wait till tomorrow at school
C : then i suggest we go to sleep
A : for once, i agree with you
That's it, tomorrow were gonna go to school and tell mr. Montrage.
As i say goodnight world.
