•Kenzie's POV•
There. There's where i have the book in my arms and there's where Zoe is standing
Her eyes flick from Johnny to Lauren then Laura and to me
She looked at me than the book in my arms
I held it tightly wishing that by doing that i could protect it
But if i say i can then i'm lying

She ran passed me and around the living room
She looked at every single bodies that is in the room
She sniffed Annie and runs again
She's running so fast we barely see her
Suddenly i felt strong hands around my neck
I instantly know it is Zoe
Lauren and Laura instantly react and froze the whole place and time
But..... Zoe didn't froze

"I'M NOT A HUMAN NOR A STUPID MAGICAL CREATURE"

"LET HER GO"
"Well, first i will take the book and.... should i kill her?"
She laughs
"NO. Let her go"
The twins just stayed silent while those two are arguing
"Never"
"Zoe.... tell us what you wan't and we'll help you"
He said calmly but he looked aware
"I WANT THE BOOK!"
"What do you need it for?"
"I-I- I can't t-tell you"
She said still gripping on my shoulder
I whimpered in pain
She's gripping on me too hard
I'm pretty sure i'll be bruised after this

She said squishing my arms even harder which made me groan in pain

"Tell us what you wan't and we'll help you. I promise"
"I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP"
"YES YOU DO"
he screamed back angrily
Then calmed down instantly

"Yes, yes you do Zoe. You can't open the book nor read the spells"
She looked up squishing her eyes shut and opened it again with tears in her eyes
"I-i-i need it...... to save my parents"
The twins gasped and Johnny sighed relieved

"Let her go and we'll help you, we promise"
The twins nodded
"Even if they betray you and wont gelp you, i will"

"Me too"
Lauren added
She sighed and her grip loosen

She let me go and i fell to the ground
God, she's strong. I think my arm is broken and obviously bruised
As soon as i fell to the ground, Johnny rushed over me and slid on the floor kneeling down to me
"Kenzie? Kenzie are you hurt? Is there any bruise? Are you okay?"
He asked as he hugged me protectively
"I'm okay"
I whimpered
"Sorry, am i hurting you"
He said pulling away from our hug
"No, you're not"
The i pulled him back for a hug
"Though i think i have huge bruises on my arm"
"Let's check it out"

Now were in his room, sitting on his bed facing each other
Yes, the twins are downstairs having a talk with Zoe
"I'm going to pull your sleeves up okay?"
I nodded and he did
When he did he sighed

"Kenzie?"
"Yeah"
"Your bruises are bad"
I nodded and squeeze my eyes shut in pain as he touched one of them
"Sorry..."
"It's okay john"
"You need to go to the doctors"
"I-I think i'm fine"
"No, Kenzie. You really should"
"I said i'm fine!"
"Sorry..."
"It's okay Kenzie... if you want i'll come with you"
"Fine, thank you"
"No problem"
He smiles, now were only inches apart and his nose is touching mine
I stared at his gorgeous green eyes as we leaned in
My heart is has gone wild, i think it's gonna break out from my chest
We're only inches apart
He closes the gap between us and now his lips touching mine

I-I am speechless

He's touch sent tingles down my body and his lips perfectly matched mine
After a couple seconds we pulled away with our foreheads touching
His hand reached my cheek and stayed there
"I love you"
He breathed out
My eyes widened in shock
And he looked worried
"I-I love you too"
I said with happy tears in my eyes
He hugged me tightly but not painful

I really do love him

We head downstairs with out hands interlocked
We entered the living room to see the three of them sitting on the couch and both of the twins with tear stained face
"What happened?"
"She told us about her point of view"
Zoe sighed
"Now i feel guilty"
Lauren added bitting her bottom lip

10 minutes later
Zoe had told us what happened to her parents and her grandmother
And yes, i do feel bad for her
But she should've just asked for help
"So would you guys help me?"
She said with a small voice that sounded desperate
"Of course"
"I'll help"
"Me too" i said
"Johnny?"
"Yeah, of course"

So now were in the living room with the book in the middle of the room on a table
We cleared up the whole living room leaving only a table for the book
Then we called the others to get here
"They should be he-"
*DING*
"I'll get it"
Laura said jumping and running to the front door to open it

"Sooo..... that's what happened"
Zoe finished telling everyone her story
And by everyone's reaction, i'm pretty sure they'll help
"What are gonna do now?"
Stephanie asked putting both of her hands on the table
"I don't know"
I muttered
"I mean, we tried opening the book but it won't work"
Riel said almost giving up
And yes, we tried. Lauren even threw the book on the ground cause she got pissed off

"I think we failed"
I said trying the hardest not to have a break down
"We can't get them back, and soon we'll be dead cause the dark magicals are coming for us"
I said shakily
"Don't give up just yet Kenzie, we've gone this far, we can't just give up and leave it all behind"
Johnny said trying to comfort me
Though it worked.
Indeed, we can't give up. Not yet..

I was deep in my own thoughts i don't  even know whats going on
"K-K-Kenzie? Why is your hand b-bleeding"
Laura said shakily
"Shit" i muttered
"Kenzie!" Johnny screamed
The others gasped as soon as i felt a thick liquid dripping down from my sleeve
