⚡️chapter 25⚡️

•Johnny's POV•
Kenzie, her hand is bleeding
And i don't know what to do
Her blood drips from her arm and fell to the ground
Weird. There are sparks coming out of her blood
What is that?
"Kenzie? Why is there sparks on your blood?"
"What?"
"Look" i said pointing to her arm where is blood is dripping from
"What is that?"

She stood there frozen with tears in her eyes and we watch in shock
I ran up to her and made her sit down on a chair while the others just hang their mouth open and watched as i tried to stay calm and help her

"J-john?"
"Hm?"
"Whats wrong with me?"
She said looking at me in the eyes
Her beautiful eyes is now covered with tears
"I don't know"
I breathed out
Tears forming in my eyes
I was shocked at her next question
"A-am i going to d-d-die?"
Tears fell down her face while the others are silently crying but they did nothing
"Kenzie, look at me"
"You're not going to die, don't say that. Don't even think about it"
"Were gonna find a way"

"GUYS"
Laura spoke up
"What?"
"I've read something from a book"
"Read what?"
Stephanie asked
Even though i'm listening, i didn't bother looking up
I'm focused on Kenzie
I hugged her tight, arms around her waist
She hugged back but she's still sobbing
They continued to speak and said
"Ice"
"What about ice?"
"Can you just get to the point?"
Riel said fastly
"Ice, they can stop people from bleeding"
The twins rushed over Kenzie and pulled me away

"Ready?"
"Kay, 1 2 3"
Both of their hands are centimeters away from Kenzie's arm
And when they count to three, they created a layer of ice covering her upper arm
And the bleeding did stop
"It worked!"
"Wow"
"Woah"
"How"
"Were geniuses i know i know"
Lauren said while doing a hair flip

Now were all seated on the floor at the living room
"Why are we so quite?"
"Cause Sophia's not here?"
Laura laughed answering my question
And yes, we didn't call Sophia cause she's been getting on our nerves
"How are we going to open the book?"
"I don't know Kenz"

"Guys, do you think it has some kind of password to open it?"
Edmund asked
"Maybe"
"Or maybe a key?"
Lauren suggested
Just by then we heard a click sound from the table

Weird

What is that?
How did that happen?
Is it because of what we said?
"How did th- what?"
"When did that lock appeared?"
Kenzie asked being confused just as the same as me
On the book, there's a big lock
It appeared out of nowhere
I mean, i'm pretty sure it wasn't there at first
Of course it wasn't, the lock's pretty big i would've noticed

"Go go go!"
Zoe shouted
"What?"
I asked confused
She sighed and face palmed
"Go! Split up! Search for the key!"
"Oh right"
Right after that all of us jumped from our previous position and wondered around the house
I grabbed Lauren's hand since she was close to me and dragged her to dad's office
"What are you doing?"
"Well, since it's dad's book.. do you really think he's gonna hide it somewhere random around the house?"
"Good point"

We started searching around the room
Until from the corner of my eyes as i was bending down to look under the table i saw a bling
I can see a gold bling reflecting from the side of a small square hole that looks like a small cabinet but the door is all shattered
"What's that door?"
I said pointing to the small cabinet
"Oh.... that's where we found the map"
"And you broke the door?"
She laughed
"Yeah"
I jog towards it and bent down
I put my head slightly inside of the cabinet and look to my right then left
But just as i was looking to my left i saw that bling again
I said a peek of bling on the corner of the door in between the woods
"Lauren"
"I think i found something"
She ran towards me

I put my hands on the place where the bling is at
I pressed on the wood a little and it shifted
I pushed down further and it popped out revealing an even smaller hole in between the woods
My eyes widened in shock as i saw the whole thing, it wasn't just a bling
It was a reflection of a golden...

Key

It's like a secret key inside a secret hole inside a secret cabinet in a secret room
Great
Well, i found the key and i pulled it out to show Lauren
She looked at my hand and she gasped
Jumping up and down
"You found it you found it you found it"
She squealed

We ran out of the room and ran downstairs like little kids who found free candies
"WE FOUND IT"
Lauren screamed
"What?"
Kenzie asked, her head popping from the door of the kitchen
"WE FOUND A KEY"
"O M GEE"
She said screaming and running as fast as she could back to the living room

"We heard screaming, what's wrong"
Maddie came rushing into the room and so did the others
"Yeah, we were focused on searching"
Millie added
I held the key up and they gasped at it
"Y-you found it?"
"Where did you find it John?"
Kenzie asked me walking to my side and look at the key then took it and examine it in her hands

"It's a secret key inside a secret hole inside a secret cabinet in a secret room"
"To many secrets"
Laura said putting her hands up in the air

Now were standing in a circle around the table or should i say around the book
Standing position :

Johnny Kenzie
Lauren Book Laura
Edmund Riel
Stephanie Maddie
Carson Zoe

Kenzie held the key in her hand and we insert the key
It worked
She turned it to the right and it clicked
The book opens revealing spells and pictures
A page, a spell
But then the book flip it's pages by it's own like wind is blowing it until it stopped revealing the spell.....
