•Johnny's POV•
I gasped as we entered
There was Lauren, Annie, Hayden, my parents, Kenzie's parents, Annie's, and Hayden's parents lying on the ground with blood everywhere

Me and kenzie stayed inside while Maddie and Laura ran outside to call the others

"I-i can't. no,n-no,no" kenzie said as she ran outside with tears running down her face
So i ran after her. I pulled her into a hug as she kept crying and mumble the word 'no'
Shit, she's having a panic attack

"Calm down kenzie. It's gonna be ok, they're still alive"
I said trying to calm her down
"We need to help them and bring them out of here ok? Don't be scared i'm right here"
i brush her hair with my fingers
Yeah" she said as she stopped crying.

By the time we wen't back and enter the room, the others are already there

"W-we need to bring them out of here"
Riel said trying her best not to cry but we all can see the tears in her eyes
"Fast" Jasper said right after she finished her sentence
"I'm scared Johnny"
That little brat Sophia said as she hugged my arm
"I'm not your protector"
"So? I'm your girlfriend"
"You're not! Get away from me"
I don't like her. For real, i only like kenzie i mean why wouldn't i?

Just as i was lost in my own mind someone called my name
"Johnny?"
"Johnny!!!"
"JOHN!"
I snapped back to reality and see Laura waving her hand in front of my face
"Did you hear what i said?!"
Stephanie said out loud
"Um no" "sorry"
I heard her sigh as she explained her plan from the start
"First, grab a person and run back to the portal and climb up, the first one to climb will have to help the others by the time they get there."

"If you're back at the house, bring the person you helped to the living room. Once everyone's there we will try to cure them"

"Well, Millie and Maddie is our leader at healing them. So listen to the both of them if were at the house"
Riel added

"So who's helping who?"
Laura asked

•Kenzie's POV
"Good question"
"Hmm.... i'll take my dad, Maddie will take my mom, Johnny you take your dad, Laura take your mom, Stephanie take Lauren, Carson take your dad, Riel take your mom, Stephanie take Annie, Finn you take Hayden, Jasper you take Riel's Dad, and Sophia take Carson's mom and lastly Edmund....... you have to get to the gate immediately to help us go up after"
I said assigning every person

By the time i said it Edmund nodded in agreement and ran to the portal leaving us here
(I was actually surprised that we have the exact amount of people😂)
(Cross that, i put two Stephanie there so pretend that she's bringing two person)
All of them nodded in agreement to my plan until Sophia complained
"Do you think i'm gonna listen to you? You little brat"
My patient is starting to wear off
"Shut up Sophia!"
"What did you say?! Oh you wou-"
She got cut off by Johnny
"She's right. Shut up Sophia"
"Alrightyyyy uhhhh let's get this plan started" Laura said trying to prevent us fighting each other

"So, what ever we do don't get killed."

We ran forward towards them but stopped immediately after a group of monster entered the room from the both left and right blocking our way

For a second everyone was quite until
Lauren raised her hands and froze a couple the monsters
"ATTACK!!"
Laura screamed. Right after that we ran for it attacking the monsters in our way
From the right i can see Stephanie creating a great amount of water then Riel made it a wave to kill the monters

Then there's Finn and Jasper throwing fire balls one by one to eliminate the monsters

Anddddddd.... there's Sophia
Doing who the hell knows what

And to my left i see Maddie and Carson making waves of light that struck the monsters
I felt scared, aware and........ strong?

•Johnny's POV•
Me, Kenzie, and Laura is together
With Laura standing in front of us making an ice shield
While Me and Kenzie attacked

Until what felt like ages Stephanie and Riel got a clear shot of running
So they did. They ran and grab the person they were assigned to get and wen't straight for the portal
"Kenzie, Laura! The path is clear!"
"Okay, grab your parents and i'll take my dad"
"On it!" Laura said as the shield disappeared

The three of us succeed and we ran
"HURRY!!" Kenzie screamed
We ran and ran and ran until we arrived at the portal
It's further than i thought
From the portal i could see Edmund's shadow

"Edmund!! Were here" i screamed trying to get his attention which worked by the way cause after that he reach his hand and grab us
Laura was first to go up with my mom of course
Now it's Kenzie and me down here
"You go first" she said
"No, you go"
"N-"
"Go, it's ok"
With that she nodded and climb up with Edmund's help

"Johnny hurry up and grab my hand!"
Edmund said with his hand sticking out of the portal
I grabbed his hand and he tried to pull me up but his hand was slippery which made me accidentally slip and let go of his hand
I fell to the hard ground groaning, it was a high fall and i think my nose is bleeding. Also my back hurts a lot
"Johnny!!" I heard a girly sound coming from the portal
My vision was a bit blurry but then it got better
"Johnny?!! Are you okay??!!!"
"Kenzie?!"
"Yea, it's me are you okay?"
"Yeah, i'm fine"
"Good, I need you to climb again okay?"
She said with a worried tone
"But this time i'll help too"

I got up and stand straight making my back hurts
I ran as fast as i could and jumped grabbing Kenzie's hand then Edmund helped me by pulling my elbow in
I was half through the portal when suddenly something bit bite me and pulled me down hitting the ground

I opened my eyes to see the monster in front of me backing away then starts running towards me
"JOHNNY!!"
"HURRY AND GRAB MY HAND!!!"
I can't run so i got up and fight the monster
It bit me
It hurts so much that a tear escaped my eyes
But then it died from my lighting bolt
I hurry and grab my dad's body and held her hand
For some reason there was only one hand
She pulled me with full power and succeed

What shocked me was when we go through the portal my dad's scar and blood was gone.
He looked perfectly normal.
When i finally reached my house and i was out of the portal she tackled my with hugs
"Ken-"
I was cut off by her lips
SHE KISSED ME
SHE KISSED ME FIRST
I immediately kissed back
And we pulled away

Our faces only inches apart and our nose touching
"What was that for?" I asked her whispering
She didn't answer but she was smiling even wider than before after i asked her
