Chapter 8

Yugo struggled weakly against the cuffs that held him against the wall. 'I need to escape. Hopefully before Qilby comes back to beat me again.' Yugo thought as he tried to slid his hand out of the cuff, a single perk of being really small for his age, his hand slipped out of the cuff. "Thank you Goddess Eliatrope that I am so small." Yugo said under his breath as he pulled his other hand out and fell to the ground "Time to get out of here." Yugo muttered as he rushed over to the door. Locked "Dang it." Yugo mumbled

Footsteps sounded on the other side of the door. Yugo hide in a dark corner of the room. The door creaked open. Garmadon and Qilby stepped into the room. Almost immediately he heard Qilby mutter "Damnit" Qilby walked over to the cuffs "Stupid, short, little, midget."

"How'd he escape?" Garmadon asked enraged

"Seems the cuffs were too big, he seems to have slipped right out." Qilby explained as Yugo snuck out the door of the cell and ran down the hall

Lloyd, Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane, and Nya sat in their mechs, just outside Garmadon's volcano lair. "Here's the plan guys. We go in, find Yugo, get him out of there, and then take him back to the base." Lloyd said

"Problem. Yugo's right there, flying across the ocean with his portals." Kai said pointing at Yugo

"Well... Change of plans. Protect Yugo so my dad can't get him." Lloyd corrected himself

'This, is taking a lot of energy.' Yugo thought as he flew across the ocean, jumping in and out of portals

"Hey!" A voice rang out, Yugo looked around and saw the ninja "Need a lift?" Lloyd joked from his dragon mech

"I think you know the answer to that!" Yugo replied, he was exhausted who knew he would be so tired after only making it halfway from Garmadon's lair, to the ninja's base?

Lloyd flew his mech down next to Yugo, who immediately climbed on and collapsed from exhaustion, and how badly his injuries hurt "Guys, he passed out." Lloyd shouted

"Let's get him back to the base, we can make sure he's okay there." Nya called back to him

Not a word was spoken the rest of the way to the base. The only sound was the crashing of the waves, and Yugo's quiet snoring. Lloyd looked at the small boy with worry in his eyes. There was a huge purple bruise on Yugo's face, dried blood trailed from his nose to his chin, and his wrist was clearly broken. 'It's a miracle he was able to get out of Garmadon's lair with all those injuries.' Lloyd thought as they reached the base.

Lloyd carried Yugo inside and set him on a bench. Nya walked over with a roll of bandages, and a wet piece of cloth. Lloyd looked at her with a questioning look. Nya rolled her eyes, and tossed the cloth at Lloyd's face "Wipe the dry blood off his face." She ordered as she started to wrap Yugo's wrist with the bandage

"Okay." Lloyd replied just before sticking his tongue out at the water ninja, only to have about a gallon of water drop on his head "Hey!"

"Just wipe the blood off Yugo's face. Don't stick your tongue out at me Greenie."

"Whatever you say Waterballoon." Lloyd replied as he began to wipe the dried blood off of Yugo's face
