Expected Arrival

THE NEXT MORNING

Ouch why does my neck hurt so much? I thought to myself waking up, taking in my surroundings. Oh yeah I fell asleep on the couch- typical me! I looked at my phone and saw that it was already 10am, crap Shane is going to be here in an hour. I jumped into the shower, washing my hair and make-up off from yesterday, then proceeded with shaving and all that jazz. The cold breeze hit me as I got out so I dried myself as quickly as possible and threw on my dressing gown. When I went to my room I saw a note on my bedside table

Be Safe today and no kissing Shane he is taken ;)- Lexi xx

I chuckled and rolled my eyes at the note, scrunching it into a little ball tossing it in the trash. I went to my closet to see what I could wear today and I came across the new play suit I got, it was coral at the bottom and had a cool pattern on the top half, I paired that with my brown sandal wedges and then went to do my hair and make up. I slightly curled my hair at the tips to give it a lazy effect and then just done a simple eyeliner effect and applied some mascara to finish off my look. Just as I plugged my phone in my doorbell went off. I ran down to get it and I opened it to Shane with a tub of Ben and Jerry's, Starbucks, and his signature smirk.

"well hello" Shane said

"hello Shane come in" I said laughing at his attitude.

The first thing he did was jump on the couch

"you know lexi would kill you" I said laughing walking through

"but she is no here sooo.." Shane said raising an eyebrow

"good point" I replied jumping on the couch next to him.

"what do you want to do?" I asked Shane

"well how about you go get spoons and we can eat this ice cream?" He said

"I will be right back" I said getting up. I got one spoon from the kitchen seeing as I don't eat ice cream and brought it back to Shane

"and where is your spoon?" Shane asked

"You know I don't eat Ice Cream, you're lucky if I eat fro-yo" I replied

"I don't care about your calorie obsession just eat this" Shane insisted scooping some cookie dough ice cream onto his spoon and forcing it to my mouth

"no, go away" I laughed pushing the spoon away

"not until you eat it" He said

"omg you are so annoying" I groaned letting him put the spoon in my mouth

"there ya go, now wasn't that good?" he teased

"it was ok" I replied smugly

"whatever" he said playfully pushing me

Not long after an expected knock at the door was heard

"I will get it, go and get your phone" Shane said

"be careful" I said running to where my phone was, I could still hear everything that was going on though

"who the hell are you?" an Irish accent- Niall asked

"I am Courtney's friend" Shane replied

"well Courtney is meant to be on a date with me now so goodbye" Niall said rudely

"I don't think so" Shane sniggered

"unless you want me to beat the shit out of you just move" Niall threatened, it was then when I ran through to see them both staring at each other, I must of caught Niall eye sight as a sinister smirk showed on his face

"Ahh there you are" Niall said shoving Shane against the wall and coming up to me. Again like at the mall he towered over me even with my heels on effectively scaring me

"g-go away" I said as emotionless as possible

"nah not unless you come with me and unless you want Shane here to be hurt, I would come" He threatened whispering the last bit in my ear, keeping his threat a secret from Shane

"you can't do that" I exclaimed

"oh watch me babe" He said walking over to Shane, then pushing him against a wall

"ok ok I will come" I said protecting Shane

"No you are not Courtney" Shane said trying to shove Niall off

"yes I am Shane I will be fine, I promise" I said giving him a reassuring smile. You could see him regretting his next words but I am glad he agreed

"okay but phone me as soon as you get home" He said

Niall let go of Shane then whispered something in his ear. He followed that move by calling me over and I obeyed.
