--STORY/PLOT OUTLINE: MAIN--

The Beginning: Hangover

-

James Norrington, sitting at a small table, held his head in his hands. he looked awful.

He should be dead,

&(/but) he wasn't.

& there was a song stuck in his head, & it would not go away

"somewhere, beyond the sea... "

(he was in) Tortuga,

some tavern.

he'd woken up on a beach, with no memory of how he'd gotten there;

& with that song in his head.

he'd wandered into the town,

& since then he had usually been either drunk or hungover.

often both.

right now, he had one hell of a headache;

& still that bloody-damned song would not go away.
