It's the day before Boston, she was visiting Tahani at her place before leaving tomorrow.
"-What?! That is so not likely of you K!" Tahani commented, Kaycee just told her that she'll be performing a duet with Kenneth in Boston, and to a grown up song 'Versace on the floor'
"It's just a dance, no one will remember it" Kaycee replied
Tahani was trying on different clothes as Kaycee sat on her bed scrolling through social media
"Kayc, it's a dance CONVENTION, everyone will of course be there!" Tahani replied "Anyway, does this make me look fat?"
"Ughh Tahani, you look great in everything. I never understand how any piece of clothing can determine a person's weight or size" Kaycee answered looking at her bestfriend
"By the way, won't Sean get jealous knowing the fact that you're gonna perform a duet with Ken and not him?" Tahani asked
"What? Why would he? It's just a dance. And besides, he has his own solo to worry about." she replied giving her a weird look
"Duhh, Sean is your 'official' dance partner for World of Dance. You can't just go on the dance floor with some other dude infront of a million people!"
Okay, she did have a point.
"Sean said it was okay. Plus, this isn't World of Dance." She said defending her side
"Yeah but have you forgotten what you said to your parents??" Tahani said sitting down next to her on the bed

"You said 'The publicity can be helpful, now that we're joining world of dance' " Tahani said as she attempted to imitated Kaycee that night Sean asked her parents to let her come to Boston with them.
Crap. This is harder than I thought. Ugh, what was I thinking?
"Am I right or am I right?" her bestfriend said as Kaycee only found herself dumbfounded
"Okay you win! But y'know nothing is gonna change. Practice is done and we've already finished choreographing it"
"Ughh, I don't even know anymore-" Tahani said in frustration as she barges back to her wardrobe

"What about this dress? Does the pink bring out the color of my eye??" Tahani asked dramatically as she came out in a pink dress. Kaycee immediately hid her phone

After a few hours of staying at Tahani's house, she went home to pack her things for the trip tomorrow.
She was heading up to her room as her father stopped her in her tracks
