 Jake headed to class as well, after class Jake went to search for howler and found her putting things away in her locker

"Hey, howler want to walk home together?"

"Sorry, Jake, I'm going to Rocco's football practice"

"But you don't even like football?"

"I know but it isn't that bad when you get the hang of it, see you later Jake"

Jake felt a little hurt that howler turned him down, and was starting to think that maybe clawdeen was right but shook it off until he heard someone laughing behind him and turning to see Heath until he glared at him scaring him off

Jake sigh and decided to head home with Frankie, a day later it was pretty much the same, howler was just too busy hanging around Rocco or doing something else which he started to not like even though the gargoyle guy didn't really do anything, he started to think that maybe the two of them are in a relationship. he tryed asking his sister but the only thing that he ever got was that they're just good friends nothing more.

So one day Jake went out with Nefera at the mall shopping, as Jake was following behind her carrying a lot of bags, she was on the phone talking to someone until Nefera hang up the phone and stop at a jewelry stand

" I was such a good Captain I thought they would ask me back but they didn't, could you believe that Jake?"

Nefera asked him as he only agreed with her until he saw howler with the gargoyle guy who was carrying two bags and howler was carrying one as they were heading into a Gothic clothes store

"Uh, Nefera can we go in there?"

Jake asked her as she looked over to where he was pointing at

"were Punk store? Jake you know I'm not a were Punk girl fan?"

"Yeah I know but ...oh nevermind"

"Come on let's head home now and when we get there we can stop for lunch"

She said as Jake and Nefera exit outside of the mall packing the car with the shopping items until Jake saw howler walk out with the gargoyle dude

"Howler?"

"Oh Hey Jake fancy meeting you here"

"What are you doing at the mall?"

"Shopping"

she said as a black limo pulled up and three carts of items were being pulled out and packed into the limo making Nefera and Jake's jaw drop

"excuse me Jake but I have to go"

"Wait a minute since when do you shop like that?"

"I don't and besides this stuff belongs in Isis not me and I'm pretty much on a time limit right now so I can't really talk see you later"

she said as she and Rocco got into the limo that drove off, once home Jake sigh as he sat on the sofa

"What's wrong big brother?"

Frankie asked as she came over to him and sat next to him

"Clawdeen was right, howler did fade away from me"

"Can you blame her, you just up and disappeared once you got with Nefera"

"I know but Nefera is a needed person so ...I kinda have to be around a lot because of her father"

"If your not happy with her leave her"

"That's not what I mean, I just want me and howler to have our friendship back again"

"I'm sure you guys are still friends"

"I don't see that"

Jake said with a sigh,

Howler has been going through a lot of things when you were away

"Really like what?"

"Well..."

Frankie told him about what happened when he was away, how howler was turned against Howleen by Moanica D'kay. How she outdid Toralei when she was pulling pranks with her sister Mimi as a cover-up and many other things as well. Jake wishes he was apart of that too but knew he wouldn't be, Frankie told him others ways of getting back his friendship with howler. At school, Jake saw howler talking to Danielle

"Hey Howler"

"Hello, Jake something wrong?"

"No just thought you wanted to go to the amusement park today after school"

"Really, sure why not?"

"Yes!"

"But I will have to bring the others"

"Why?"

"Because what fun would it be if it's just the two of you"

Danielle said, jake didnt mind the others coming but he didnt like that Rocco had to come along
