~ Mills POV ~

As I finished changing, I walked back into the bathroom to blow dry my hair. I knocked to see if there was anyone inside, there wasn't.

After I finished I went downstairs and ate some cereal. I noticed that there were still 20 minutes until Charlie and I had to get going to school, so I sat on the couch and watched tv for a little. Then after 5 minutes Charlie sat down next to me.

"Millie." He said looking over at me

"Uh, ya?" I said confused

"I know that your hiding something. Why were you actually crying? I know that you weren't just crying because of a song. So spill it." He said looking serious. I froze, I had no idea what to say

"Uh... um. Uh, fine so basic-" I said as thankfully I got cut of by the door bell ringing

"Oh wait hold up." He said standing up and heading to the door

When he opened it, I couldn't really see who it was. But finally when they walked in, I saw who it was. Finn.

"Oh hey Millie." He said walking in and waving at me. I smiled. I was happy to see him

"Hey." I told his waving back. He smiled back

"So what are you doing here?" I asked him

"Oh well I got my car taken away because I was caught sneaking in late. So I can't drive to school so your bro is taking me."

"Oh ok. Wait, what were you doing?" I asked him smirking. He stiffened and got red

"Oh uh... nothing I just don't really feel like driving." He said scratching his neck. I rolled my eyes. I knew he was lying. He was probably just screwing with some girl or something.

"Ok well let's start to head out." Charlie said and we all went outside to his car

~At school~

"Hey have you seen Sadie? Do you know where she is?" I ask one of my classmates as I sit down in my desk

"No. Shouldn't you know?" She responded

"But have you seen her?" I asked her as she shook her head.

Mrs. Ryder took attendance and still no Sadie. She's probably just home sick. I thought to myself.

The rest of the morning was pretty laggy and lonely without Sadie. I don't have many other friends yet. But finally it was lunch. I walked in really fast so that I don't bump into Jacob. As I got my food I noticed that Finn, my brother, their friends, and even Caleb were sitting at the far corner table where they usually sit. As usual I saw some girls staring at them a giggling. I rolled my eyes and walked over to them.

"Hey do you guys mind if I sit here?" I asked

"Oh who's this cutie." Some guy asked

"Oh shut up Romeo. That's my little sister." Charlie said annoyed ( also ps Romeo won't be a bad guy in this. Jacob is enough lol)

I once agin rolled my eyes and asked them agin.

"Can I please sit here." I asked annoyed but smiling at the same time

"Ugh ya whatever. There's a space between Finn and Caleb." Charlie said, although giving me the eye

"Ya ok, thanks" I said sitting down. Finn gave me a smile then went back into the conversation

"So Sadie told me too tell you that she'll be gone this whole week. She has the flu." Caleb told me

"Oh ok. But um... you know what if jack does something else again. Who am I going to go to?" I asked him whispering

"Well just come to us. You don't have to say why just say that you want to hang with us."

"Well ya but don't you think that Charlie will get annoyed of me. He sees me enough at home."

"It's ok. Just trust me, ok?"

"Ok." I said as I got back into my food. I saw Finn eye me but I ignored it.

The bell was going to ring in about 10 minutes so I decided to get up and go to the library. I said bye to everyone and got up making sure Jacob wasn't around. I finally made it and looked through the book selves until I finally saw the one I was looking for. It was IT. I checked it out and just as I was about to leave Finn walked in.

"Millie I need to talk to you. I over heard what you were talking to Caleb about. What did Jacob do?"
