A few months later, D'Angelo and I are still together.

Everything has been going well.

I have this habit of looking behind and all around me now.

It's taking some adjusting the this schedule though.

With D'Angelo having away games, I don't get to see him everyday.

I watch all of his games on television with Imani.

Her baby bump is finally showing.

She is four months pregnant.

Imani keeps on walking around holding her back like it's in so much pain, but her belly isn't even that big.

"Stop being extra!"

"You don't understand, I'm not used to carrying this extra weight!" Imani says. "Until you have a baby, shut up!"

"Hopefully that isn't soon!" I make a face.

Imani laughs.

_____

The next day D'Angelo and I go on our morning run together.

I keep on looking behind us to make sure we aren't being followed.

D'Angelo stops running and I stop running, but I jog on place.

"Why'd you stop, are you tired?" I tease D'Angelo.

"Nah," D'Angelo says looking at me. "Why do you keep on looking around you?"

"I don't know, I'm just looking at my surroundings!" I glance to the right then I look back at D'Angelo.

"Stop doing that, I'm right beside you. Nobody's going to hurt you baby." D'Angelo wraps me in a hug.

I smile up at him.

"I love you!"

Did I just say that?

"I love you too!"

Did he just say that back to me?

"Man, I'm gone wife you up before it's to late!" D'Angelo states.

"Are you now?" I asked D'Angelo taking a sip of my water.

"Hell yeah," D'Angelo places a hand on my waist and he pulls me closer to him.

I bite my lip and D'Angelo kisses my lips.

I kiss him back.

He's such a good kisser.

_____

D'Angelo is just so freaking perfect.

He knows exactly what to say and when to say it.

He knows how to make me feel better when I'm upset.

He knows how to be a respectful man.

He was very perfect.

Notice I said was, he was perfect, until he wasn't.
