chapter 6

Your pov

"Br-Brooks" i said stuttering feeling my eyes tear up. I stood up and walked towards him
"Y/n you don't know how happy I am to—" i stopped him before he could finish and slapped him,
He stood there holding his cheek, I ran out the door to my car turning it on.

Ethan's pov

It hurt me see y/n crying, I don't know what that guy did to hurt y/n that bad but I knew that I had to be there for her. And without thinking I ran after her I saw her turning on her car I ran to her car knocking on the window
She rolled it down and said
"Can I help you" she said raising an eyebrow
Her mascara was running gently
"Um yeah sure I guess uh er, can we talk" I said not sure on what to say
"I don't feel like talking"
"Just open the car door we don't need to talk if you don't want to" I said
"Fine" she said unlocking the car door
"Thanks" i said looking around the inside of her car
She wiped her tears .
"What did that guy do to hurt you so bad"
" That guys name is Austin" she said with a bit of attitude
"Sorry" I put my hands up "what'd he do"
"I don't really feel like talking about this right now, especially with someone I hardly know" she said with a small smile
"Well then we can get to know each other more if you let me take you out tomorrow night" I said attempting to convince her
"I don't know"
"Come on it doesn't have to be a date, it'll be like us just hanging out"
"Ok fine I'd love to" she said with a smile
"Ok so let me get your number and I'll text you later" I said reaching for my phone in my pocket and handing it to her she put her number in and handed it back. I put it back in my pocket,
"Aren't you coming back in ?"
"No I figure I should head home now"
"Ok then so I'll text you later?"
"Yeah yeah"
"Ok cool bye"
"Bye"
I walked back into Starbucks, catching Emma and James and Grayson's head to turn to me.
"What took so long?" James asked
"Nothing we talked a little and I'm going to take her out tomorrow" I said
"Aw Ethan's got a crush" emma said making Grayson and James laugh
"We're not going on a date we're just gonna hangout" I said
"Sureee you areee" Grayson said
"Yeah whatever" I said rolling my eyes
"Gray I think we should get going" I said
"James is our ride assclown" he said back
"No that fine let's go" James said
"Bye Emma"
"Bye guys" she walked out after us
—-skip car ride——

"Bye thanks Again for the ride James" Grayson said
"Bye James" I said
"Goodbye daddies" he said and me and Grayson cringed
"I'm just kidding bye" then he drove away

By the time we had got home it was a little dark out so I just went to my room and started playing fortnite. While gray was practicing his guitar.

Back to your pov

I was finished carrying the grocery's in to my apartment and putting them in the fridge. I changed my clothes into something more comfy then I walked into the living room and turned on the tv putting on Netflix
"What shall we watch today" I asked myself  I came across the show pretty little liars
"God damn it Toby" I yelled

After my minor binge watch I stopped and turned off the tv. I decided  to just take a couple mirror pics. When I got a message from an unknown number

Unknown: hey
Me: who is this?
Unknown: Ethan
Me: oh hey
                added to contacts Ethan

Ethan: so what's up
Me: I was just about to go to bed actually
Ethan: oh sorry I'll let you get some rest goodnight y/n
Me: goodnight Ethan

I laid down in bed thinking about Ethan slowly falling asleep.

Ethan's pov

I sighed and laid down on my bed, thinking of y/n. Thinking about how beautiful she is, quickly falling asleep.
