In the 6' Kagawa put Japan ahead with a cool penalty, but Carlos Moreno leveled things up in the 39' through a free kick after Falcao won it by theatrically falling to the floor. But Japan prevailed to win the match in the 73' when Yuya Osako powered home a header.
