Chapter 7

• Ariana pov •

I slowly fluttered my eyes open to the sunshine against the curtains, showing a shadow. I looked around and saw I was in one of Becca's guest rooms.

I checked my phone to see what time it was and it read '9:36' i looked down to see I had a text message from a random number, I swiped it to see what it read

It read "Hey Ariana, this is Za, I wanted to know if you wanted to meet at Starbucks around 10:30? Text me back soon, bye!!" I smiled and texted back

Me: Yea that's fine, c u soon!! ;)

I pulled my blankets off my body and got ready and walked out and saw Becca cooking pancakes "hey babe, I'm making pancakes" she smiles "yum!" I eagerly state "are they almost done?" I ask "uhh yea, inpatient pants" she says and I chuckle

I got 2 plates and she served a couple pancakes on each plate, I took my plate to the breakfast table and poured syrup on them "so I'm meeting Za today" I say "oh cool, what time?" she asked "10:30" I simply reply "oh girl, you better go" she says looking at the clock

I look and see it read '10:07' "but it's pancakes" I say "you and your pancakes" Becca chuckles and I smile "so what are you meeting Za for?" she asked "I don't know, he just texted me out of the blue and said he wanted to meet at Starbucks" I say "oh, I'm sure it's about something if it wasn't he wouldn't of asked you to meet him" she says "true" I reply

"Girl go your gonna be late" she says putting a mouthful of pancakes in her mouth "okay fine, I'm done anyways" I say "mhmm now go" she says "bye Becca thanks for letting me stay here" I say "anytime" she says "bye babe" I say walking out and she waved bye, in the window and I smiled and waved back

I got in my car and put my key in the ignition and drove off. My phone started ringing, I looked at the caller I.D., it read 'James', I didn't really wanna talk to him so I let it ring

10 minuets later I arrived at Starbucks, I walked in while checking the time on my phone and it read '10:32' just in time

I looked around and saw Za sitting in a seat by the window, on his phone. I walked over and smiled "hey Za" I said, which made him look up from his phone and look at me "Hey Ari, is it ok if I call you Ari?" he asked "yea it's perfectly fine, everyone calls me that" I say "cool" he replies

"So what did you call me down here for?" I ask him "oh right, I wanted to talk to you about yesterday" he says "oh" is all I say "I know, that's a touchy subject, but like I wanted to make sure you were fine" he said "that means a lot, thank you" I say "no problem" he says

"So how do you feel about, uhh, Justin?" he asked scratching the back of his neck, I smile and look out the window "umm, well everybody thinks that I like him Za" I pause "but I have a boyfriend James, and I love him" I say "Ari just because you have a boyfriend and you love him, doesn't mean you don't like Justin" he says "now hold up, before you say anything else I'm not saying you like Justin" he adds holding his hands up

I chuckle "why does everybody think I like him Za?" I ask "let me ask you this, why did you cry?" he asked "what do you mean?" I ask "why did you run out crying?" he asked "because I lost my best friend" I simply reply

He looks down smiling then back at me "no Ariana, why did you run out crying before you got in that fight with Miley" he says "I-I" I stutter "exactly" he says

I just look at him then back at the floor "deep down in your heart where no one can touch or feel it, how do you feel about Justin" Za says "I don't know" I say "no Ari, it's not the fact that you don't know it's the fact that you don't wanna know" He says "you don't wanna face your feelings, because your scared that you might like Justin" he says

I just look at Za and don't say anything "here" he says passing me a piece of paper "what's this?" I ask "open it?" he says, I do as he told and opened it to see 2 phone numbers "who's are these?" I ask "the first one is mine, if you ever need something" he says and I nod "the second?" I ask "that's Justin's" he says

"What do I do with that one" I ask "that's up to you" he says, I just look at him "I'm gonna go" he says, I just look at him "bye Za, thanks" I say "no problem, don't forget if you ever need something, call" he says "okay thanks" I chuckle and he smiles "bye Ari" he says "bye Za" I say and he walks out of Starbucks

I just sat there thinking of what Za said to me, was I scared of liking Justin? I just sat there looking at the people walk bye and only thinking of Justin.

A/n: I know this chapter sucked, but I just wanted to get something out there! It will get better!! haha!!! 😂👌💕
