Oh my god! 1k reads?! That's incredible! I didn't think that I would get any other reads besides my best friends. Thank you so much for reading this story. I'll keep writing the story and hopefully improving (really. I need to improve 😂) enjoy this chapter!

Haru and Makoto walked hand in hand down the streets of Tokyo. Makoto was humming happily as he swung Haru's hand with his own. The air was crisp but not quite chilly.

They arrived at Amoré at 7:30, perfect timing for their reservation. Haru held the door open for Makoto and they were both greeted by a waitress in front of them. The restaurant was dimly lit and there was a dining room to their right. The tables were covered in red tablecloths and had a single candle in the middle. To Makoto's surprise the waitress walked them past the dining room and towards the back of the restaurant where another room was secluded for reservations and occasions.

This room was dimly lit as well, but only had one table inside. The tablecloth was white this time and, like all the others, had a candle in the center.

Makoto felt his body warm up and butterflies erupt in his stomach as he sat across from Haru. The warm light from the candle lit up Haru's features beautifully.

"Haru," Makoto whispered breathlessly. "I can't believe you brought me someplace like this."
"Well, you said you wanted it to be fancy." Haru replied with a tilt of his head.
"Yeah but, when I said fancy I meant not fast food." Makoto laughed lightly.
"You deserve a fancy meal once in a while." Haru moved his hand to reach over to Makoto's. He gently ran his thumb over Makoto's knuckles before placing a small kiss on his hand.

Makoto's cheeks erupted with blazing color and he looked away shyly.

"Hello, my name is Nanami and I'll be your waitress this evening." A short girl with dark hair said with a smile. "Would you like a few more moments to decide or do you know what you want to order?"

Haru turned to look at Nanami as he ordered.
"I'll have the grilled mackerel with Sicilian caper."
Nanami nodded as she scribbled down his order. She looked at Makoto next.
Makoto however looked at Haru and smiled. Haru knew.
"He'll have the chicken Parmesan." Haru added.
"Oh, okay." Nanami smiled. "And to drink?"
"Water for both of us." ("WAAATEEER" Haru says, foaming at the mouth") Sorry....
Nanami turned around and left the couple alone.

"Thank you for all of this Haru." Makoto said as they walked out of the restaurant. He leaned down to give Haru a small peck on the lips.

"Why do you sound like the date is over?" Haru said with a shy smile. "There's still stuff planned for us."

"What?" Makoto exclaimed. "Really, Haru, you didn't have to do this much."

"Hey." Haru grabbed both of Makoto's hands and held them within his own. "I told you already, you deserve to have a beautiful first date." Makoto tried hard not to cry as he smiled at his boyfriend. "Now come on!"

They arrived at a small lake at 11:00. The lake was a far walk but Makoto didn't mind. Once they were there, Haru told Makoto to close his eyes.

"Okay...but Haru?," Makoto said as he shut his eyes. Haru hummed in reply. "You'll be here when I open them, right?" His voice wavered slightly.
Haru walked slowly over to a Makoto. He stood on his tiptoes and pressed his lips firmly against Makoto's. Makoto jumped a bit in surprise but quickly eased back down. "Of course I'll be here."

With those last words, Haru quickly went to grab the surprise. He dragged it over and set it by the water.
"Okay."

Makoto opened his eyes and right away spotted the small row boat by the lakefront. "Haru!" Makoto jumped onto Haru and they both fell down. "You're being too sweet to me!"

"I could never be too sweet for you." Haru smiled as he hugged Makoto closely.

They both got up and sat in the boat before Haru pushed them into the water.

The swaying boat on the dark water made Makoto's heart flutter in his chest. There were golden fireflies dancing around them and little splashes here and there. It was dark but the moonlight reflecting off the water was enough light for them too see each other.

Makoto subconsciously scooted up in his seat and closer towards Haru. Haru mimicked his movements and without a moment passing, they're lips collided. It was soft and tender at first. Filled with love and compassion for each other. Haru's hand found its way to Makoto's face and softly placed his hand on his cheek. They're lips moved together in sync. And then their tongues. And then their bodies. Haru finds his hand tangled in Makoto's hair and feels Makoto's fingers tracing up and down his spine.
Haru gasps in a breath as Makoto releases his lips and moves his head down to his neck. He places small and soft kisses on Haru's neck. The trail goes lower and lower until his collar bone, where he kissed a little longer.
Haru let out a noise. One that Makoto has never heard him make before. One that made Makoto come unhinged. He bit down on the skin between his neck and shoulder.
Makoto felt as Haru's hands left his hair to grasp onto his shirt.
Makoto kissed the spot one more time before he languidly began his trail back up his neck and back to his lips.

"Makoto," Haru whispered as he tried to catch his breath. "I love you."
"I love you too." Makoto said before he ardently connected their lips once again.
