because although you said it didn't matter, the distance tore us apart
maybe at first it was fine, but just give it some time
because after a month, we already weren't talking as much
my phone would buzz, but not because of you
an email, or something, nothing new
as time continued to pass, we went radio quiet
and i soon came to realize that it wasn't the distance that ruined us
but the ever growing silence
