I had just turned the faucet off and had started heading towards my room when my heart stopped.

I couldn't believe my eyes as I saw Ezra's big back as he neared the hallway.

I gasped.

Ezra stopped in his tracks instantly, as did I. Both of us standing in the living room, without saying a word and him not daring to turn around and face me.

"W-what are you doing here?" I asked with a small voice.

"I-um" He stuttered. My cheeks started to heat up almost unbearably. "I brought your breakfast"

"Oh"

"I was just leaving" He said.

"I see"

"I didn't see anything" He added.

"I didn't ask" I said. My face heated even more. He had seen me.

"I should go" He said, visibly as altered as I was.

"You should" I said absentmindedly, still too embarrassed about the possibility of him having witnessed my little show.

He cleared his throat as he started walking away. I swallowed hard.

"Did you really not see anything?" I asked a little bit louder, not entirely sure why and he stopped once again.

"Um" He mumbled. "I may have seen... something" He said warily, making my face tingle, surely about to burst from the heat.

"Oh" I whispered, the embarrassment rising and making my heart thud loudly in my chest. "Oh Jesus" I said to myself, replaying in my head all that I had been doing, all of the things he could have seen.

"I'm sorry" He said almost inaudibly.

I frowned. "You're sorry?" I asked in a confused tone.

He was sorry because he had seen me dance pathetically around the room?

"Well... yes, I didn't do it on purpose" He said, shifting on his feet.

"Do what?"

"Stare at you" He said. "I mean I didn't stare, I barely saw anything, I promise"

What- Oh.

I almost forgot I had changed with the door widely open. That's what he saw.

I licked my dry mouth as I looked down at myself, still wearing just a pair of panties and a thin bra.

I realized that's why he was so stiff, so nervous, why he didn't want to look at me.

My face heated, but for some reason, it wasn't out of embarrassment. I felt a slight warmth growing from my core, a certain empowerment I knew I shouldn't have been feeling, one I really, really should just be ignoring.

"You saw me changing?" I asked with a breathy voice.

There was a long moment neither of us talked or moved a finger, then he softly nodded his head. My heart increased speed inside my chest.

"You were just dropping the cereal weren't you?" I asked absentmindedly, as I watched his hands ball into fists and relax again.

"I was" He said.

"You were by no means, say, just using it as an excuse?" I breathed.
