Niklaus and Caroline were now in his bed, catching their breath while replaying what happened. Caroline had her head resting on Niklaus's chest while he stroke her hair.

Caroline was planning on having a weekend at her family's cabin and make have sex with him there, she didn't planned this and she definitely hadn't planned on saying the L-word, it seemed rushed but in a short time she developed feelings for him and she did love him, she just didn't admitted until now because she didn't want to scare him away. Caroline couldn't stop smiling from the flashes she had about the two of them pleasing each other, he was tender and caring but he was also rough, but in a good way...

Niklaus also couldn't stop smirking, he never expected that being with Caroline could be so good... He teased her for awhile because he was afraid of not making her get there and he also enjoyed listening to her moan his name. When he finally got inside her, making her gasp, he started to wanting to go faster but then she kissed him and he realized that with her he didn't want to go faster, he wanted to enjoy as much as he could for as long as he could, because of that, he felt like they were connecting in another level, in a deeper level... He felt that Caroline was finally truly his, mind, soul and body... He also got off guard by having Caroline changing positions and making him be on the bottom because he was always on top, he liked to be on top but when Caroline got on top of him, she was able to drive him crazy.

"So, love... was I good according to your expectations?" Niklaus asked with a smirk, trying not to show that he was actually insecure and fearing that it was only good for him.

"You were way better..." she said with a smile, looking at him and then felt the need to ask. "Did... Was it good for you?"

"Was it good?" He asked not wanting to believe that she actually asked him that. "It was the best I ever had."

"Seriously?" She asked with a smile, blushing, he just nodded with a smirk and kissed her. "I love you so much, Niklaus Mikaelson."

"I love you so much too, Caroline Forbes." He said with a smirk and kissed her again with all he had.

"I think I better go take a shower..." Caroline said, noticing how sweaty she was. "Do you mind I use your shower?"

"Of course not." He said and she gave him a peck in the lips and then took his t-shirt and put it on, getting up from the bed and leaving to his bathroom. "Wait. Was the shower an invitation?"

"No. But if you decide to get a shower too, I wouldn't oppose..." she said bitting her lower lip while leaving the bedroom.

She felt sore and at first she found it slightly difficult to walk but she couldn't stop herself from wanting to be with Niklaus. She spend so long trying to avoid having sex with him that now she felt the need to compensate for the lost time. How was she able to deny herself from such pleasure? That she will never know but what she knows is that after knowing how good it felt being with Niklaus, it would be hard to keep her hands to herself...

Niklaus noticed her walking to the bathroom and he could see that she was sore and probably deserved some rest but by picturing her in his shower completely naked, he couldn't stop himself and went to his bathroom.

When he opened the door, he faces Caroline's back and her completely naked, feeing the water running through her hair and body, he quickly got in the shower and grabbed her, pulling her closer to him.

"Nik..." she smiled, turning around to see him and kissed him.

"Did I hurt you?" He asked, starting to feel awful about hurting her.

"I'm just slightly sore... But it's okay..." she whispered with a smile and kissed him.

"Are you sure? You should rest..."

"I spend so long denying myself from being with you like this... I finally let myself be with you and... I don't want to do anything else. This was the best I ever had... You are the best I ever had. I'm completely yours..." she whispered and Niklaus kissed her passionately, not being able to fight himself much longer.

"You are going to be the death of me..." He whispered looking at Caroline's body like if it was the very first time, still perplexed with her beauty.

In his eyes, she was perfect... And in her eyes, he was everything a woman could ask for and much more...

In that moment, they knew that they would love the other with everything they had... They saw the other as the best thing that it ever happened to them and they were going to do everything in their power to not let the other go.
