From Cuddling To Dating [Sequel to Cuddle Buddy]

Niklaus's POV

Caroline and I ended up not having sex. We were making out and having some foreplay but then I heard my dear brother Kol knocking on the door, making me and Caroline,who were with our underwear and about to have mind-blowing sex, getting dress as quickly as we could so I would open the door. With Kol was Jane, Stefan, Rebekah and another few people.

"Hey!" Kol said as he walked in. "Caroline, darling... so nice to see you again."

"Kol, Caroline is my girlfriend. Don't get any ideas." I warned him.

"Don't worry. I know she will get annoyed with you and realize how much better I am, so... I'll just have to wait. I'm the Hot Mikaelson after all." Kol said with a smirk and I noticed Caroline trying not to laugh at him.

"Care?" Two girls asked.

"Elena? Bonnie? Oh my God!" She said and run to their arms as they hugged.

"Hello, blondie!" One of the guys said with a smirk, making her roll her eyes.

"Hello, Gorgeous! Did you miss me?" A British guy asked.

"You know I did." She said with a big smile and hugged him.

"Alright, I guess that's enough of hugs." I said with a forced smirk, pulling Caroline to my side and wrapping my arm around her so they could see that Caroline was clearly taken and that she was in a happy relationship with me.

"Yeah! We should all go to Darren's and catch up." Caroline said with a big smile, making me see that she clearly wanted to spend more time with them.

"Yes, let's go!" I said trying to seem happy for going out instead of staying home with my beautiful angel and no one around to bother us.

We've been at Darren's for awhile and we drink a good amount of alcohol. Caroline spend most of the time catching up with her friends, the guy who called her blondie is apparently Damon, Stefan's brother, the British guy was Damon's best friend, Elena was apparently the girl who dated Stefan and was now with Damon, Bonnie was a good friend of Caroline and Elena.

For awhile Jane and Kol playing a drinking game where he would lick salt from her neck, then have a shot of tequila and ending in biting a lime, but then Jane and Kol spend most of their time dancing with strangers. Stefan and Rebekah were sometimes making out and when they weren't Rebekah was drinking while Stefan talked with Damon. I have been drinking with Kol and sometimes with Rebekah. Rebekah understood me not being really in a party mood because just like me, she felt a little outsider.

I was drinking when I noticed Caroline dancing with her friends, so I finished the drink and walked over to Caroline and started to dance behind her.

"I'm sorry, but I have a bo..." She was saying when she turned around but the moment she saw me, she smiled and kissed me.

We started to dance and her friends left, which made me feel relieved because I wanted to be with Caroline without having to feel judge by her friends. At first we danced with a little space between us but now, I don't think what we were doing was dancing, I was pulling her closer to me and she was rubbing her body on mine, teasing me.

After a lot of teasing, she took me to the bathroom and kissed me, things quickly got more intense, she wrapped her legs around my waist and kissed me passionately. I pushed her against the wall and started to kiss her neck and tease her to get back at her for what she did to me when we were dancing.

"Oh my God!" Caroline and I heard, making us stop what we were doing and making me take a step back so we could see who was it, it was Jane. "I'm so sorry. I didn't want to interrupt you... I didn't even know you two were... Carry on."

"No. It's fine, we were just leaving." I said and left.

I sat on the booth that Caroline's British friend was, because I wanted to know what is his relationship with Caroline and if they have a past.

"Hello, mate!" He said when I seat down.

"Hello! So... how long have you known Caroline?"

"Just a couple of years. How about you?" He said.

"For a couple of months." I said.

"And you two are officially dating?"

"Yes, we are. Why are you so surprised?" I asked, not able to stop myself from being too defensive.

"It's just... Caroline usual takes more than a few months to start dating a man."

"And why do you know that?" I asked.

"Well, I'm her friend and I did try to see if she wanted something with me but she would never things get more than just flirting."

"I wasn't aware of your relationship being so close."

"Well, when she started to work, we drift apart and..."

"Why did you let her work drift you apart? She deserves to be around people who make efforts to be with her even if it's after a long day at work." I said.

I know it's weird that I'm upset with this. But I am upset because even if I didn't like to know she used to flirt with him, I couldn't understand why someone who knows Caroline wouldn't make the effort to keep spending time with her. I hate being separated from Caroline and when we were just cuddle buddies and we had fights that made me think she was going to leave me, I knew of that would happen I wouldn't be able to handle it... How can someone stop passing time with Caroline? Once I got to know Caroline, I knew that I couldn't have her out of my life.

In the end of the night I took her to my place, I lay her down in my bed and wrapped my arms around her tightly to make sure she was there with me and not with some other guy. I know we dated other people before we even met but I just hate the thought of Caroline with another man.
