My fifty-seventh day of college was excruciating. My most hated subject, English.
Not that I'm bad at English. I actually studied abroad. I was one of those kids who got to travel to Australia. I got to see many animals I never would've in Korea.I don't like English because it's annoying to speak it. I don't like having to follow all of those pronounciation rules. Why on Earth do I need to learn English in Korea? It's not like we're in America..."Because this is English class, there will be no Korean speaking. Understood?" my annoying professor stated.
Unlike some other people, I actually adore math. I like having to figure out problems. It makes me feel as though I've accomplished something in life. I was in Mathletes before, but my parents weren't happy. They wanted me to become a doctor or lawyer like them. They adored money, attention, and high class things. I grew up with many luxuries, yeah. So what?I wanted to be a painter, where I could sell my paintings for the thoughts I display on the easel. So, I moved out as soon as I could and started my own life, living in an apartment with 2 bed and 1 bath.I decided to live alone because I didn't want to have to worry about taking care if someone else, or having to split bills. I was fine on my own.•---------------------------------------•
It was nighttime and I decided to go grocery shopping.
"I'm gonna need some shallots...maybe a few carrots?..I should get some pork....I'm in the mood for some samgyeopsal..."
"Unnie!"
I turned to look at a little child who seemed to be tugging at my sweater. She had a petit form with milky, pale skin and dark hair and eyes. She wore a little blue dress with a pastel, yellow cardigan. She had black stockings with polka-dots. Her dark hair was styled into two buns that were kind've messy , I guess from running around? Also, where are this girl's parents?
She pointed towards her stuffed sheep. I guess it was a sheep.
"What about your sheep?" I asked nervously. It's not everyday a little girl runs up to you with a stuffed animal. She looked at me with a face of anger. Uh-oh.
"He isn't a sheep! He's Alpaca-san!"
San? Is she Japanese?
"Oh, there you are Kirimi!"
I looked up to where the voice came from and a man wearing a blue shirt with a pastel purple knit sweater and ripped jeans came running towards us. He had pink-dyed hair. He looked nothing like the girl next to me. I was worried that he would try to snatch her and whisk her away to his rectal wonderland, but that thought was soon gone as soon as the girl ran towards him shouting, "Oppa!"
"Hey, Kirimi," he said with a smile that reached his eyes. He looked up at me and stared. He looked me up and down and I shivered. I didn't know if it was beacuse of the fact it was fall, so temperatures began to drop, or because of the fact that this man was basically checking me out. I'm sure it was the latter. In the time frame he was checking me out, I was able to check out his features. He had sharp facial structures. His chin was perfect whereas he had a sharp jawline. He had cheeks where the chubbiness intensified when he smiled, therefore his eyes would disappear. His lips were full and plump, and probably soft to the touch. When he smiled his teeth were white and perfectly straight except for one crooked tooth that mad his smile unique. I dropped my gaze down to his form. His shoulders were nicely structured, but because of his sweater, I couldn't see if he had muscles or not. So things wouldn't get wierder than they already were, I broke my gaze from his body and simply bowed to the man. My polite gesture seemed to snap him out his daze and he simply bowed back. His smize(smile+eyes) came back and he looked at the little girl again. "Did you run off again little, Kirimi? I thought I said to stay by me while we go shopping?". The little girl just cheesed brightly at the older man and began giggling. "I found a princess for you to live happily ever with, Oppa," I scrunched my face in utter confusion but the conversation piqued my interest. "Remeber those stories Eomma use to--"before the little girl could finish, the older one spoke up. "Now, Kirimi, that's enough--"
"Is she yours?"
Great. Stupid Chae Eun. Why'd you have to speak?
