Emilio's POV:

Today is finally Friday, which means that it's finally the end of our second week in university.

University is so much worse than high school. Much harder, more work. You can get assigned to write seven essays in one day and the teachers, or professors, will not even care.

And it's only week two!

Who knows if I'm going to survive another week, let alone nine months with no summer vacation?

This sucks.

Why can't I be one of those rich eighteen year olds on YouTube that make money off of filming videos, and never actually educate themselves?

Well, that's because we live in reality, where mothers whoop your ass if you sleep three minutes past your bedtime.

..Not that I have a bedtime....

I don't I swear.

I'm nineteen okay. I'm an independent man.

..That can't cook.

If you're wondering how it's been going on with Cupcake—Luna for the past like five months, then let me tell you something.

It has not been going so swell.

We have definitely been more distant, but we still talk and it's so normal when we do. She also told me that she confessed to Dylan about us, so nothing is kept as a secret anymore and we can be more comfortable with the relationship we're gonna have when she comes here. That made me so happy because she's actually looking forward to building a relationship. I thought I was the only one but no, she feels exactly the same!

But ever since we started university, which was just two weeks ago, we haven't been talking much. I feel like we can but with all my assignments and work in the way, it just doesn't work. Even Dylan isn't talking much to Luna, but he definitely talks to her more than me. It's like a routine for him. Wake up, call Luna, go get educated, come back and call Luna. But me, I don't know. I just don't have time like at all.

I'm not saying I don't have time for Luna, she knows I would cancel anything just to be with her. But this is education we're talking about. This is what will decide if I can graduate and get a good job with a happy life and who knows, maybe a great family. I just don't even have time for myself. Like I'm an absolute hot mess right now.

If you saw what I looked like now, you would think I got ran over by a truck.

No joke.

I have bags under my eyes from staying up so late doing assignments, I haven't shaved ever since school started and I'm losing a lot of weight. I, Emilio José Perez Martinez, am not confident with how I am beginning to look like nowadays.

But fuck that, am I right? Who cares what I look like in university? Pfft, everyone looks like shit.

I'm lying to myself right about now.

Anyways, there's this thing going on with AJ. He already told us about Alison and what happened between them. Now, Alison lives in a dorm in the same university, but kinda attends online. She has taken permission and I didn't even know it was allowed, but when the pregnancy for a college student gets difficult they can sit in their dorms and receive education through the university's website. Just like any student, except from a electronic device.

As far as AJ has informed us, Alison is five months pregnant with his unborn son.

I know, weird. My best friend is about to be a dad.

Wait I just thought that.

Oh..

Now that I actually think about it..
