13 | A Camp for Terriost's

I look around as we walk down the grassy shores of Long Island. There doesn't seem to be much here, so it was a good place to hide a terrorist camp for kids but why was it here of all places it could have been?

But as we walk further down the shores I notice a hill and a blur of two sides fighting and I point it out to the rest of the team, which makes sense that these criminals start a battle to train them so they have better stamina  "Guys I think I've found the camp look over there" 

Thor and Wanda both look at each other and nod like they knew what was going on and ran towards the hill, I narrowed my eyes at their backs, this was weird and abnormal Thor had been uncharacteristically angry at Wanda who in turn was uncharacteristically quiet even more so than when her brother died and I knew something was going on and it was all tied to the kid terrorist Percy Jackson

The rest of us looked at each other before trekking after the others, it was a long walk up the hill but we finally manage to see what was going on; Percy Jackson and the other kid that helped him escape were running across the hill swords raised in their hands completely not noticing us as they ran, their eyes were trained between the group of other kids and what seemed to be an incoming swarm of monsters, the other kids were trying their hardest to fend of the monsters but nothing really happened until Percy Jackson showed up and took charge

He sliced and stabbed through the monsters as if they were nothing more than a workout for him at some point in the battle he turned around after just stabbing another dog with red eyes in the back and it bursting into dust, I stood there completely stunned how could a kid kill that man dressed up as a scary dog or at least I thought it was a man...Now I'm not so sure  "Could the flirting possible wait till after the attack?" He shouts his tone amused but also slightly sad and annoyed

Two boys, one with dark hair and dark eyes that wore all black and a sun-kissed surfer boy with blonde shaggy hair blushed and I noticed that the younger one was the one that helped Percy Jackson escape to here whatever here  was and then they sprung into action like it was a regular occurrence for them, in fact, all the kids were acting as if they had been training all their lives

"What just happened?" Tony says in awe and a little breathlessly

We had been hiding behind trees and shadows for the past hour watching as the number of monsters dwindle to one only to be stabbed by none other than Percy Jackson who was now collapsed onto the grass along with all the other kids looking up at the sun. He had a nasty scratch on his leg that he got from fighting a girl in a cheerleading outfit with a bronze donkey leg right before he stabbed her through the chest

"I don't know" Cap mumbled from behind me

I stole a glance at Clint who just looked as baffled as I was as he tried to slot the jigsaw of what they were doing together in his head just like I was then my eyes flitted to Wanda and Thor who each looked like they were battling with themselves on whether or not to go join in on the fight 

But before I could question it Percy had called over to a boy "Nico I need you to take me to Olympus" and I find myself drawing my eyes together in confusion What was Percy talking about? I vaguely recognise the name Olympus from Greek Mythology but those were just myths so what was Percy talking about? A hideout maybe?

"I don't think I have enough energy to get you there Perce" The boy Nico replied and what he said to Percy made no sense to me

"Please, please take me to Olympus I promise you don't have to stay and you can come back here to rest afterwards I just need to find out what the situation is with Annabeth. You promised me answers and now I need to get them" Percy sounded desperate as he begged the boy to take him to wherever he needed to go but who was Annabeth? She had been mentioned a few times since the recording on the Hellicarrier but I still didn't know who she was

"Fine I'll take you but don't expect me to stay"  Nico sighs glaring at Percy 

Percy smiles a small smile and limps over to Nico before he grabs onto the boy's shoulders and they disappear into the shadows that have suddenly appeared. I don't know why but shadows seemed to follow this kid

"What just happened?" Tony repeated like a child but to be fair he was voicing everyone's thoughts well almost everybody's Wanda and Thor looked like they knew what was going on seen as they had paled a great deal and was seemingly having a conversation with their eyes

 "Do you know what's going on? Thor? Wanda?" I pipe up as a glance at them coldly 

They both shook their heads indicating that they didn't have a clue what was going on but they're white as a sheet faces and wild darting eyes told me differently. Thor gripped his hammer tighter as he spoke "I must go Lady Maximoff you will be needed to" He announces to the group and before we have the chance to even question what was going on they we both gone in a flash of lightning 

Leaving us all to ask a single question what was happening?

Well, whatever it was I knew Fury wasn't going to be pleased we had found out nothing let the prisoner escape and go to wherever and lost two teammates all in one day 

Just as we were about to leave back for the Hellicarrier Nico appeared out of the shadows and I took that as my chance "You are coming with us" I say calmly
