The 80's elevator music did nothing to calm my nerves as I felt the car of the elevator shoot up making my stomach tie itself in knots. Too soon did the elevator doors slide open revealing the newly designed lobby of Olympus and I cautiously stepped out before heading up what seemed like the endless staircase to the throne room

I quickly reached the end of the staircase and a part of me wanted to turn around and go back down the elevator and walk out of the Empire State building and never show my face around there again but a much larger part of me told me I had to stay whatever came my way I would have to endure it for I had to find out what Tartarus did to my wise girl

With a heavy sigh I find myself opening up the large bronze doors that lead to the throne room, and my footing echoed on the marble floors alerting the Gods to my arrival before I even came into view and I know this because Zeus shouted "Who dares interrupt the council of the Gods?"  and at the same time thunder rumbled in the skies

I took that as my cue to come into view because I didn't want to get blasted into dust "Did you always have to be such a drama queen" I sass causing all heads to turn in my direction and suddenly every single God in the room has a reaction about seeing me back here even though it's been just a little over a week, a week in the normal world is like forever in my world

"Perseus Jackson what brings you to the council of the Gods" Zeus thundered being the first to recover from shock

"Ah well, I was in the neighbourhood and thought I would swing by seeing how your all doing" I answer dryly but only Hermes, Apollo and my dad got the joke apparently because they were trying their hardest not to smile while everyone else look unimpressed with my brilliant humour "There was an attack on camp led by Tartarus Nico Di Angelo reckons who also came and visited me while I was being imprisoned my mortals and he said Tarter sauce had taken Annabeth's soul and now I'm going to get him for it, I was just wondering if you could tell me some clues on how to kill him or is it against your Ancient Laws"

With a flash of light, the three old ladies who constantly try to ruin my life and kill me stand before me in the throne room, or to normal demigods and the gods here in the room they are best known as the fates but I like to the former title better so I'm going to stick with that

"The Gods cannot help you," The first one said in a frail raspy voice

"We have seen your future, a choice that you make will end the world or save it," The second said in the same voice

"What was does that mean?" I press why have I always got to save the world?

"We will let the Oracle of Delphi explain," The third one says "And listen carefully she comes with a warning" Then there was another flash of light and a frizzy red headed girl stumbled into the throne room and she looked around her eyes widened when she realised she was in the company of the twelve Gods of the Council, Hades and Lady Hestia and not to mention the three bat crazy old ladies stood by me (a.k.a the fates)

When Rachel's eyes land on me she forgets all about her state of surprise and ran towards me wrapping her long arms around my neck as she sobbed into it "Percy I thought I might never see you again all of the camps has been terribly worried" She blubbered  as I awkwardly patted her on her back trying to stop her from making a bigger scene

"I'm sorry Rach and  I promise to catch up with you and the rest of camp later but now, I really need the Oracle of Delphi" As soon as the last few words fell from my lips Rachel's head tipped back and green smoke spiralled out of her mouth before her head tilted forwards again, her haunting green eyes that light up when she's about to deliver one of her Prophecies

"Approach speaker and ask"

The raspy voice that always creeped me out filled my ears and I shivered a little as I speak to the Oracle of Delphi. No matter how many times I speak to the spirit I never really knew how to speak to it properly "Is there a new prophecy about me?"

Rachel was still for a minute and it unnerved me but I dare look at anyone around me in fear that they would see how panicked I was and then the raspy voice spoke

"Upon the moon turns onyx,
the world turning to ash
shall mark the end time of horror
and a child born from the sea,
will either make a decision that
will save the world once and
for all or turn it to dust"

My head was spinning but before I could ask what the prophecy meant Rachel collapsed and before she hit the floor I quickly grab her and lay her gently on the floor before finally looking up at Zeus with pleading eyes who sighs and snaps his fingers and just like that Rachel is gone -- hopefully back to Camp Half-Blood

"What could it be son? When will this happen?" My dad asked angrily his huge fist curling into a ball, he looked just about ready to kill and I don't know what to do I haven't seen him this angry since I stood on his throne right before he checked it was me and before he blasted me into oblivion

"I don't know, but I think I know people that can help" I sigh and reluctantly string out "The Avengers -- Earths mightiest heroes"
