It has been a week since we returned from getting the weapons that apparently will kill monsters and Percy seems to be in a better mood and more accepting of the people around him I think seeing most of his friends, the ones that were alive, were doing well and moving on with their lives after the second war that they fought in apparently which I think is called The Giant War but I can't remember
We were all having breakfast when the alarm system went off that Tony made so we knew when attacks were going to take place in the city. Percy having been through this kind of thing before was alert and jolted up to his feet alert and quickly disappeared into the room that he has been using ever since Tony announced that 'fine the kid could stay'
The rest of us not being as quick as Percy looked at each other before standing up and they all dashed to their respected rooms to change into their suits and costumes all except me because I didn't really need one after all I was one part Hulk but I wouldn't let that guy out until it was absolutely sure we needed him in this battle
As the sirens grew louder I grew more anxious as that meant that whatever was attacking had grown closer to the tower, thanks to Tony and I's scientific skills we were able to put in a sensor for movement as well which meant the louder the sirens got the closer they were and the quieter they were the further away the attack was until they stopped altogether and then we knew that the attackers weren't even in the city anymore and that meant we had to trace the damn fools
When Percy skidded back into the room fully cloaked out in what looked like Greek style amour with his large bronze sword sheathed in his belt that was hooked onto his armour. Unfortunately he wasn't even in the room for one minute before a roar that shook part of the tower happen that made me jump and look to Percy with worry crossing my features
"PERSEUS JACKSON" The thing roared with fury
Percy didn't look scared or alarmed and instead said something in Greek and then looked at me determination flowing through his face "Tartarus" He stated coldly his face became cold and guarded
The others filed in the room dressed in their hero outfits carrying the demigods weapons that would help kill whatever was out there with a mix of emotions crossing their faces much like I had but deep inside we knew this was our job and we knew that we must protect the innocent people who didn't sign up for this but we also knew that this was unlike anything we have faced before and we have faced an army of Aliens from out of space and a demigod from another world who wanted ultimate power and just a few months ago we saved hundreds of people from a floating city and took down an army of robots along with their leader but this is new territory for us
Everyone started talking at once about what we were going to do bombarding poor Percy with a million questions all at once except for Wanda, Vision, Thor and I and finally it seemed like Percy couldn't take it anymore and took a deep breath before yelling as loud as he could "ALRIGHT EVERYONE STOP!" He yelled
The commanding voice that Percy used made everyone stop and look at him in slight fear we have never seen Percy Jackson like this so angry maybe when Nick Fury insulted him by saying he killed his friends and he shot him a look that basically could have Fury six feet under if looks could kill and he yelled at Fury making the rest of us shocked and Stark grin with glee but other than that the kid was usually calm or sulking over the loss of his family not that I blame the kid though
"I don't know what kind of monsters are out there but I do know that they want m and that they will try to kill those who stand in their way, their master will be Tartarus who is the husband of Gaia he can take on many forms including the one of him as a pit where I fell with A-Annabeth and he is out for vengeance ever since I slewed Gaia thats why he k-killed my f-family and kidnapped the soul of my lost love" Percy explained stumbling when he got to the part about a monster killing his family and kidnapping his girlfriend
Boy Percy has gone through hell and back literally
"So what do we do?" Natasha asks getting into full Black Widow mode as she grips her Widow Bites with force
"You stay as far back from Tartarus as you can and fight as many hellhounds as possible but if you get injured then come back to the tower and Will, will most likely sort you out. My demigods friends will be here in a minute to assist with the fighting, those who were willing because I I.M'd them when you all were fighting"
"Stop treating us like children Percy" Tony whined you know to prove the point that he wasn't a child "We are the Avengers, we have saved the world multiple times before you came along"
"I have saved the world thrice and I'm not even eighteen yet" Percy retorted trying to shut Tony up who was still whining as if he was a five year old and although Tony finally shut up after Percy's statement
"Is everyone clear on the plan?" Steve asks and we all nod except Tony, who like a child is still sulking and pouting like a five year old and I see Percy shake his head and mutter something that sounds like
"He's worse than Apollo"
Suddenly the tower shakes again reminding us that the battle has begun
