Wow, I love this story a lot and I'm so sad to see it end but I'm so excited to move onto the Knox's Girl AU and give it my full attention!! I hope you've all loved this book as much as I have. PICS BELOW RELATES TO THE BEGINNING OF THE CHAPTER.**

PPS: I'M THINKING OF CHANGING THE NAME OF THE BOOK TO "BECAUSE OF THAT NIGHT" BECAUSE THE INTENTION WITH THORN WAS BC THERE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A LINE IN THE BOOK ABOUT TANNER BEING TANSY'S 'THORN' BECAUSE TANSY WAS THE ROSE BUT IT DIDN'T HAPPEN LOLOLOL GO ME. Let me know what you think of this new name bc I think it's mUCH more applicable to the story. ALSO IF YA'LL WANNA HELP WITH COVERS THAT'D BE HELLA COOL TOOK OK BYE LOVE U NOSE KISSES

Tansy's POV

One Year Later

Entering the living room, I was greeted with one of my favorite sights ever. The girls had obviously worn Tanner out, that much was obvious. With Calla turning five soon and Penelope just having turned 7 months and already getting the hang of walking, our house was always in constant chaos - especially when Tanner was left alone while I went to work for a few hours.

Setting my things down, I quietly tiptoed to the couch before kneeling down in front of the three of them. A smile overtook my face as I just watched the three breath in and out deeply, completely dead to the world from their naps. I carefully reached forward and stroked Penelope's chubby baby cheeks, amazed that two simple people like Tanner and I could've created something so incredibly perfect and pure.

Sixty-four hours I spent in labor with her. I refused a C-section adamantly, wanting nothing more than to give birth naturally. It was the most excruciating pain I'd ever been through in my entire life (though I still refused an epidural), but I would endure it a thousand times over if it meant my sweet girl was the end result.

I wasn't sure how the fuck it happened with Tanner and I being her parents, but she had the most relaxed and easy-going temperament. She hardly ever cried and after the first month home was sleeping through the night - only getting up at ungodly hours occasionally for a feeding every few nights or so.
