Here's the next song, everyone! I don't own the song, band, lyrics, or video. Enjoy, and thanks for reading!
.........
The Day is the wife,
Whom I elude.
The one to whom,
I should be right.
Although forewarned by peers and kin,
I always get into the night.
Mother always warned me such,
Being a nocturnal soul.
Besides just being simply strange,
Spawns from some illness
Of the mind.
But the night,

She calls me~
She calls me~
She calls me~
She calls me.
She sways in her velvet dress,
And pulls me toward her,
In the dark.
While the others rest.
While the others rest.
While the others rest.
.......
Heed the call,
The time has come,
For you children of the night.
Gather 'round like suckling dogs,
Mother's come, she is the night.
Come with me to the other side.
Make the girl in black your bride.
'Cause the night,

She calls me~
She calls me~
She calls me~
She calls me.
She sways in her velvet dress,
And pulls me toward her,
In the dark.
While the others rest.
While the others rest.
While the others rest.
.........
It still seems very strange to me,
That her quiet, lonely streets,
And draped in all their mystery,
Could be so sweet and comforting.
The night,

She calls me~
She calls me~
She calls me~
She calls me.
She sways in her velvet dress,
And pulls me toward her,
In the dark.
While the others rest.
While the others rest.
While the others rest.
.........
*End*
Fun fact: Voltaire did a few songs for Billy and Mandy (for the younger kids, one of the great old shows that aired until '08).
The most popular of which was "Brains".
Another fun fact: Voltaire purposely made that song five minutes long exactly, because the developers of the cartoon needed a five minute song, and paid a decent amount for every thirty or sixty seconds of music.
Any Billy and Mandy fans out there?
