Ó Valhalla- SKÁLD

Here's the next song everyone! This band is kinda in the same vein as Tyr, in that they're a Norse band. Except this group is a throat singing band. And they only speak Faroese (I think that's what the Norse language is called, correct me if I'm wrong). English translation will be at the bottom (one of many ways to translate this song), in case you were wondering
Anywho, I don't own the song, band, lyrics, or video.
Enjoy, and thanks for reading and listening to this band!
..........
Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,

Sal veit ek standa,
Solu fegra,
Gulli þakðan,
á Gimlé;
þar skulu dyggvar
Dróttir byggja,
Ok um aldrdaga,
Ynðis njóta.

Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,

Fimm hundrað dura,
Ok of fjórum tögum,
Svá hygg ek á Valhöllu vera;
átta hundruð Einherja,
Ganga senn ór einum durum,
þá er þeir Fara með vitni at Vega.

Sal veit ek standa,
Solu fegra,
Gulli þakðan,
á Gimlé;
þar skulu dyggvar
Dróttir byggja,
Ok um aldrdaga,
Ynðis njóta.

Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,
Ó Valhalla,

Allir Einherjar,
Oðins túnum í,
Höggvask hverjan dag,
Val þeir kjósa,
Ok riða vigi frá,
Sitja meir of sáttir saman."

Sal veit ek standa,
Solu fegra,
Gulli þakðan,
á Gimlé;
þar skulu dyggvar
Dróttir byggja,
Ok um aldrdaga,
Ynðis njóta.

Ó Valhalla....
Ó Valhalla....
Ó Valhalla....
Ó Valhalla....

English Translation:
Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,

A hall I know standing,
Than the sun fairer,
Thatched with gold,
In Gimlé bright;
There shall dwell,
The doers of righteousness,
And ever and ever,
Shall enjoy delight.

Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,

Five hundred doors,
And forty more,
So I seen stand in Valhalla;
Eight hundred champions,
Go out at each door,
When they fare to fight the Wolf.

A hall I know standing,
Than the sun fairer,
Thatched with gold,
In Gimlé bright;
There shall dwell,
The doers of righteousness,
And ever and ever,
Shall enjoy delight.

Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,
Oh Valhalla,

All the Einherjar,
In Odin's court,
Deal out blows every day,
The slain they choose,
And ride from the strife,
Sit later in love together.

A hall I know standing,
Than the sun fairer,
Thatched with gold,
In Gimlé bright;
There shall dwell,
The doers of righteousness,
And ever and ever,
Shall enjoy delight.

Oh Valhalla.....
Oh Valhalla.....
Oh Valhalla.....
Oh Valhalla.....
*End*
