They were all staring at me. What was I supposed to do? What could I say? All of them spoke in a foreign language. Oh, no! I'm so confused. She gave me a box. Is this intended to be a gift? Never in my life have I been so happy, confused and grateful at the same time. Life was starting to look up. I waved goodbye, never seeing them again. Hope was held in their eyes. I guess you could say, I was fortunate or lucky. This was my life now. I was with strangers who seemed to say a lot of things. I had nothing to reply back with but a simple smile. Before I left, I took one last glance at home. Through a five year old's eyes, life was great. It was getting better, is the better way to say it. Like everything else, there's always a start. Shall we?
