Chapter 3

Alice's POV
When my second mate left the entire house erupted. Everyone started asking questions and looking at me for answers. "Alice how could you not have seen them coming? How could you have not seen any of this?" Edward questioned me. He was erratic and apparently angry as Jasper moved in front of me and started growling. "What's your problem boy?" The Major was now out. Jasper rarely let him out unless I or Rose were in danger. I couldn't really understand how I hadn't seen her so I didn't know what to say. "My problem is that you have two mates and I have none. I've been waiting for a long time for a mate of my own and I've had to watch all of you be in love. Let me have her please!" Once he finished that shit fest Emmett got in his face. "That's my sister your talking about! I'll rip you in pieces if you even think about her like that. She has two mates and whether you like it or not you aren't one of them." Emmett said snarling. He looked like he was gonna kill Edward and Rose didn't seem to know what to do. "Why do they get to have her?! If anyone deserves her it's me. I'm sure I can be a good mate to her if you just let me have her!" Edward yelled. Esme gasped and Rose looked ready to kill him. "You said it yourself Edward you've waited a long time for a mate. I'm sure you can wait longer." I say, there was no way I was letting him think he could even look at my mate. She was mine and Jasper's second mate. She was ours. She was beautiful and she was so kind. "Besides with the attitude you are showing, I doubt you even have one. I hope you are alone forever, you don't deserve a mate if you feel so entitled to someone else's mate. Let alone your sister's mate." Rose says as she pulls at Emmett's arm. After some time of holding Jasper he finally came back. "Stay away from my mate I mean it." Jasper says. And with that we walk to our room.

Beth's POV
I wake up in a room I've never been in, then I remember that I'm in my new home for the rest of the year. I climb out of bed and explore my room.
My bathroom is very nice and they styled it perfectly and my closet is a huge walk in. So I go into my closet and pick an outfit out. Once I have my outfit picked out I go to my bathroom and take a shower.

After I got ready I went downstairs to see Afton making me breakfast. I smile at him. "Good morning Afton. How was your night?" I say to him as I sit down at the island. He turns around and places a plate in front of me. "My night was good Lizzy, how was yours?" He says smiling at me. I always loved seeing my guards smile and I'm so glad that we have the bond that we do. "It was good, I didn't have any nightmares. In fact I dreamt a vision. One that I will discuss with my father soon enough."

I finish eating and get up to take the plate to clean it but before I can Santiago comes and takes it from me. "Sorry my dear but you won't be the one doing the dishes today. Afton cooked, I clean, you rest or explore." He says. I narrow my eyes at him and pout. "You two are something else. Now let's go meet my biological father." I say excitedly.
We all went to the car and I decided I'd drive since I know where to go to so we hopped in and off we went.
When I pulled up to the house Charlie's cruiser was in the drive way and so was an old truck. I park and look at Santiago and Afton. "Do you want us to go with you? We can stay in the car if you want us to." Afton says as he looks on in concern. "Please come in with me, I don't think I can do this on my own." I say. "Well come on then Princess, you are gonna do great meeting him again I promise and we will be right next to you during it." Santiago said as he gets out of the car and comes around to open the door for me. We all get out and walk to the front door. I have Afton knock because I'm scared. And then when the door opens I see him. "Yes? How may I help you?" He says smiling. "Daddy? It's me Elizabeth." I start crying. "Lizzie? My Lizzie bear?" He says and then he pulls me into a hug.

I cry in his arms and then he pulls me inside, he tells Afton and Santiago to come in as well. We hold each other as we cry in each other's arms. "Daddy I've missed you so much." I sob out.

After we were done crying I said hi to uncle Billy and Jacob. Then dad and I sit down and talk. "Honey what happened? Your mom said you ran away and that she hasn't heard from you since." He says. I look at him confused then realization hits me and I look over to Afton and Santiago. Dad looks at them too. "Who are these guys?" He asks. I give him a small smile and sigh. "These guys are my bodyguards. I didn't runaway, Renee abandoned me in Italy when I was 11. I was then taken in by a nice man and his family. Soon after he took me in we bonded and he decided he wanted to adopt me. He brought me back to Arizona and he took Renee to court. She admitted to abandoning me and why she did it, which was for the inheritance I got from nana, papa, pop, and nanny. She thought that if I disappeared she would have access to the money." I start out. "The judge ruled Renee guilty of child abandonment but I asked the judge to not sentence her to jail time and to just let me be adopted but the judge decided Renee had to give her rights away to my dad in order to avoid serving jail time. And because she claimed that you did not want me either and I felt like you didn't want me since we had never really bonded, since Renee always made sure of it, your rights were revoked as well. I thought you would have gotten the letter about that but I guess she didn't give the right address. I've been living in Italy since my adoption was completed. Dad and our family are very rich and important so I have to have my bodyguards around me at all times." I say. When I finish dad looks at me shocked and confused. "So you mean you technically aren't my daughter anymore?" Dad says. "Well I am still your daughter, I just was adopted. My father knows I came to see you and he 100% understands why and even wants to meet you at some point. Dad wanted to invite you to our home in Italy later this school year. I'm going to be going to forks high this year for my senior year. Dad, my uncles, aunts and my siblings will all be coming for graduation. Technically my siblings will be here before then, since they too will be going to forks high but they had to sort out some things, they are only 15 but already juniors, I'm so proud of them for that." I say. "So you really have a whole new family? What's it like?" Jacob asks. "Well my uncles are very overprotective but their wives, my aunts are always putting them on a leash. The twins, Jane and Alec, are my little brother and sister they are both really smart and also overprotective. Alec is mainly overprotective of Jane and I the most out of the whole family. Then we have my other two brothers, Felix and Demetri, Felix is basically a giant teddy bear but only for the family. To outsiders he seems very cold and mean but he isn't. Demetri is basically an adult toddler. We have nerf fights weekly, we have water balloon fights weekly as well. And we have movie marathon night monthly." I say. "Don't forget about the weekly trips to the mall where you drag us with you, Jane, and your aunts."  Santiago says. "Yes, my aunts are very big on fashion so we go shopping every Saturday. Most of the time we don't shop near home, we either go to Paris or Milan. Since we have two private jets we can pretty much go wherever whenever we want. But because my uncles and father are over protective we all have our own bodyguards. Most of the time my brothers go with so we don't have to take so many guards but we always take these two dweebs with. They may pretend like they hate shopping but they really absolutely love it. Which reminds me, after graduation you all are invited to come to Italy to see where we live and to just hang out. Dad is really excited to have guests over that mean a lot to me. He wants you guys to see and enjoy everything we do. But I must warn you, we live in a castle." I rant on about. "A castle? Like the thing kings and queens live in?" Jake says. "Yes, and it's because we are royalty?" I start to get nervous now. "You're joking right? Like you aren't actually royalty. Right?" Dad says. "No, I'm serious. My father and uncles are kings, their wives are queens, My siblings and I are princesses and princes. And whoever my father finds love with will be a king or queen. Whoever I marry will be prince or princess." I say feeling the nerves even more. "What's your last name?" Billy says finally speaking. "My full name is Elizabeth Bianca Voltori, I am Princess of Volterra, Italy. My father is Marcus Voltori, King of Volterra." I say with confidence. I'm proud of my name. I'm a Voltori through and through. "My daughter is a princess. Wait did you get grandma Swan's gift?" He asks smiling. "I sure did, before she passed she taught me everything I needed to know about it. I've been using it since." I say bouncing with excitement. " Would you like me to show you?" I say.
