My room is filled with complete darkness. I can see a dark figure's appearance by my window.
The figure's hand that's completely covered by black gloves forms a knocking sound. I normally wouldn't mind anyone knocking at my door since my doorbell doesn't work that well anyway.
But I most certainly do mind someone knocking at my window.
I slowly breathe in some air as I close my eyes.
I wouldn't say I'm scared.
It feels more like I'm terrified.
My breath hitches as I open my eyes again.
Too scared to look back at the window I slowly leave my phone on the nightstand and fall asleep again.
Now thinking back I regret not looking back at the window...
