I watch as her eyelids flicker. Her body looks rather stiff.

I shrug as a response. I guess I did after all.
''Don't think too much of it. I don't want to freak you out. Ever since I was little, I used to watch my sister sleep peacefully. That way I was always calmed down to fall asleep myself,'' I ramble, trying to make up for what I've just said.
Okay, she won't believe this nonsense anyway.
A hand on my shoulder makes me blush. I bite my lip as she comes closer.
A nervous feeling rushes over me.
I'm not just nervous because she's coming closer, but also because I'm not sure if I can control myself if she's at this distance-
''A-are you scared o-of sleeping?'' She asks me in her soothable soft voice.
''Yes, maybe, a little bit. My mom once told me that sleeping is not fun if you do it on your own,''I say as I slowly feel my eyes water.
Two arms embracing me with passion.
With a comforting smile on your face and a gleeful silence.
I don't care if I have to lie to receive this feeling you give me.
I could stay like this forever.
But my brain won't let me.
