♡Bettys POV♡

Today is the day I meet my bestfriend, the boy next store, the guy I've had a crush on forever. My feelings for him. I've known Archie Andrews since I was little and had a crush on him too, be he never knew, he has always had eyes on my bestfriend Veronica. But I was going to confess to him today, because I have a feeling he may say the same.

I walked into Pops, our favorite diner.
The redhead boy and raven haired girl wasn't here yet, so I walked in and saw a boy with a grey beanie and leather jacket, sitting at my favorite spot to sit at in Pops, so I just decided to sit at the one in front of him.

The beanie wearing boy looked up from his book and smirked at me, I just smiled back. He's kinda cute... but no... I like Archie. I thought to myself.
"Hey there Juliet." The mysterious boy said as he sat next to me.
"Sorry mister, the name is Betty. Now could you go back to your book and leave me alone? I'm waiting for some friends, something you probably don't have." I said. Probably shouldn't have said that, I don't know who he is. I thought.
"Oh, I know your name is Betty, Betty Cooper. The perfect girl next store." He said, I was so pissed. I hate that word.
"I hate being called perfect." I tell him, about to literally punch him in the face.
"Yeah, well I have people saying I don't have friends. So we're even." He says.
"Fine, sorry." I apologized.
"Its ok Princess." He says. Princess? Jeez this guys sucks at flirting.
"Now that you know my name, what's yours?" I ask.
"Jughead, Jughead Jones."
"Jughead? Interesting name." I say.
"Trust me, my parents are awful at names. I have a sister named Jellybean, but my mother took her to Toledo."
"Oh, sorry." I say. He actually is pretty nice.
The bell rings, meaning someone has walked in.
Archie and Veronica... linking arms. I felt my heart break into little pieces.
"Jughead? Get away from Betty!" Archie says.
"Hello to you too old friend." Jughead say sarcastically. "You don't tell me what to do."
Archie walks over too Jughead and punches him very unexpectedly. Jughead could've blocked him or punched him back. But again, unexpected.
"Archie!" I yell, running towards Jughead. I don't know why I did, but I did.
"Betty! He is dangerous, he is the leader of the Southside Serpents!" He say, I freeze thinking, then keep running toward Jughead.
"I don't care!" I tell Archie.

I reach Jughead, his eye looking very confused on why I kept rushing towards him instead of running away from him.
"Jughead! Are you okay? Theres a bruise on your face!"
"I'm okay princess." He chuckles then whispers in my ear "He isn't very much of a good puncher."
I chuckle "Glad your okay."
"Hey Betty? Why'd you come to check on me? Most people would be scared and run off."
"I'm not like most people, you seem like a nice guy. And Archie is just a bitch."
"Okay, agreed with the Archie thing." He chuckles. "Heres my telephone number, maybe we can hang out someday."
"Like a date?" I ask.
"If that's what you want." He responds.
"Okay Jughead." I say and walk off.
