(Volume I of "Fandom Discussions"; First Book of the "Fandom Discussions" Series)
A book where I write about theories, questions, discussions, and other things on various fandoms, and you can discuss and ask questions and answer them as well. You ca...
Hey, guys! To make up for the long hiatus, I decided to make another chapter. Another Zootopia discussion chapter. This one has me rather befuddled. :-/
So . . . fur rugs and print jeggings . . . Great title, right? :-D
Anyway, you're probably wondering "what the heck are jeggings?" I have no idea, which is why I googled it. Apparently, jeggings are "tight-fitting stretch pants for women, styled to resemble a pair of denim jeans." It's a term commonly used in the UK, but it also made it to here, as well.
And here I thought that they were the love-child between Jeans and Leggings. lol XD
You learn something new every day, I guess. ^_^
Anyway, back to the topic.
Fru-Fru (what's with the names for shrews? Did they run out of normal names or what?), the shrew mob's daughter, gushes to her lady friends about the "leopard print jeggings" before the giant donut almost squashed them (what a way to leave this world: Death by Donut. lol).
Watch the clip below to refresh yourself.
Feel refreshed enough? Good, moving on.
I have to ask: Since they're anthro animals, I guess that they would only wear print clothing, fake artificial fur products, and fur wigs? Rather than getting them from . . . you know . . . other animals?
But what throws the monkey's wrench in the banana split is this:

This gets me confused. For one thing, this would be the equivalent of humans selling human skins to other humans. I know. Gross, isn't it? O_O
But then I began to think: What if it wasn't a real skunk's butt? I mean, he somehow managed to pass it off as a "wool rug". And the inhabitants of Zootopia are able to have wool products from the sheep (which is interesting to me). So maybe it's like us humans cutting hair to donate to people who need wigs to cover their bald heads, where the animals cut their fur or wool to donate to other animals to use for products that benefit others?
I don't know. Tell me what you guys think!
Also, why do you think sheep would shave their wool to be used for products? As a business? What do you guys think?

The Dark Side of the Skunk-Butt Rug
There's a theory in the form of fanart that was created by Sandwich-Anomaly that explains how Nick got his paws on a skunk butt rug. It's a little dark and disturbing. Yet strangely funny in a dark, twisted way. lol XD
Here it is:

However, I have a hard time believing that Nick would do something like this. He prides himself in never crossing the line -- only stepping on it -- when it came to legalities. Which is why he was never able to get caught and arrested and tried for anything that he did -- because he stayed within the boundaries of the law. Barely.
And him doing this would've had him crossing the line and he would've gone to prison for a long time for something like this if he had gotten caught.
Not saying that it isn't plausible, but it doesn't fit Nick's M.O. and reputation from what we see in the movie.
Of course, while I'm rambling on about this, it could be that this could be just like donating your hair to people. So, I don't know. I have little experience when it comes to deciphering anthropomorphic worlds. lol XD

Conclusion:
Thank you everyone for reading this, and I hope you have fun discussing this. I can't wait to see the comments about possible theories and ideas and stuff. Tell me what you guys think! I'm very eager to hear what you guys have to say! ^_^
