IT WAS ALMOST impossible for her friends to get her out of the house. Carter McDaniels refused to step foot into the sunlight without mentally hissing. Her friends managed to convince her to step foot out of her cave she calls her room just to end up escaping out of another room. Thinking it could possibly be fun, Carter was arguably wrong. Arguably wrong because the other person she mistakably ended up in the escape room with would've said the opposite.

It wasn't her intention to stray away from her friend group. It also wasn't his intention to stray away from his own friend group, either. The business was booming and they so happened to get lost in the crowd. Carter realized she wasn't where she belonged once she was placed in a room with someone she didn't recognize and would soon later find out that it wasn't some ordinary teenage boy, either.

in which ━ Carter McDaniels goes to an escape room with a group of her friends, but somehow manages to get separated from her group. She then ends up an unfamiliar celebrity in an escape room who tries to "shoot his shot", but fails because of her stubbornness.
