Here are some quotes from abortionists admitting that they're killing a human being:
Dr. Bertran Wainer:
"Abortion is killing. Nobody can argue with that. When the fetus is inside the uterus it is alive and when the pregnancy terminated it is dead – that by any definition is killing. ... I think abortion is the destruction of something which is potentially irreplaceable, human and of great value, which is the tragedy of abortion."
"I can now say openly that I do think I am ending a life every time I do an abortion"
"In truth, the nurses and clinic workers know precisely what is happening and most will tell you that they arrange a costly bargain and that abortion, although the only way to ensure the freedom of women, "is the termination of a kind of life.""
"The later ones, though, they're bad – you see little arms and feet... little, but you know what they are, and you know what's really being done."
"There wasn't a doctor, who at one time or another in the questioning did not say, 'This is murder.'"
"You have to become a bit schizophrenic. In one room you encourage the patient that the slight irregularity of the fetal heart is not important – that she is going to have a fine, healthy baby. Then in the next room you assure another woman on whom you just did a saline abortion, that it's good that the heart is already irregular... She has nothing to worry about, she is not going to have a live baby."
"At the beginning we were doing abortions on smaller fetuses... And the kicking and heartbeat did not manifest itself as much. I think if I had started with 24 weekers right off the bat, I would've had a much greater conflict in my own mind if this was the same as murder or not. But since we started off slowly with 15-16 weekers, the fetus just never got consideration. Then gradually, the whole range of cases started to become larger. All of a sudden, one noticed that at the time of the saline infusion, there was a lot of activity in the uterus. It wasn't fluid currents. It was obviously the fetus being distressed by swallowing the salt solution and kicking violently through the death trauma. You can either face it, or turn around and say it's uterine contractions. That, however, would be repressing, since as a doctor you obviously know that it is not."
"Now whether you admit this to the patient is another matter. Her distress by unwanted pregnancy is to be the primary consideration, ahead of any possible consideration for the fetus."
"We just have to face it. Somebody has to do it. Unfortunately, we are the executioners in this instance."
"Let's just give them all the violence, it's a person, it's killing, let's just give them [pro-lifers] all that," Harris said, adding that abortionists see unborn babies "the same way" as pro-life activists but they still find their work purposeful.
"A fetus isn't a baby." "A woman has a right to choose." These are often the most common statements a pro-lifer hears when discussing abortion with pro-choice people. "It isn't a baby until it's born." "Abortion isn't killing." The rank-and-file of the pro-choice movement usually deny that an unborn baby is a human being with a right to life. Occasionally you will find someone who argues that the fetus is a baby, but the woman has a right to abort him or her anyway – but usually you'll hear pro-choice people denying the humanity of the unborn. One word that's always avoided is pro-choice publications is "baby." "Fetus" or "product of conception" or "tissue" is how the aborted baby is described. It isn't a life, they say. But the people who know the most about abortion are the clinic workers and doctors who perform them. And many of them have come out saying things that would make even the most hardcore pro-choicers cringe. In one article in the American Medical News that was probably never meant for pro-life eyes, abortion providers from around the country discussed the emotional difficulties of performing abortions. One doctor said:
"I have angry feelings at myself for feeling good about grasping the calvaria [head], for feeling good about doing a technically good procedure that destroys a fetus, kills a baby."
Baby? Perhaps this doctor didn't get the memo. Pro-choice activists know never to refer to the "fetus" as a baby. You won't hear NARAL Pro-Choice America or the National Organization for Women using the term "baby" to describe a child being aborted.
You can find many quotes from abortionists just by looking it up. So here you have it. Straight from the horse's mouth. How can you believe that a fetus isn't a baby when these abortionists from Planned Parenthood and other abortion mills admit it?
