"You have a lot of explaining to do" I heard a familiar voice say

It was my parents..

"Come on.." My mom said grabbing my arm

I Just smile at Sean..it was a fake smile of course..because my dad was still a bit mad at me from me not telling him about me and Jack and I knew I would be grounded for life. We got into the car and I just sat in the back..wanting to scream and cry. I couldn't loose Sean..not like this

"Care to explain..?" My dad asked

"He was just trying to be nice.."  I said trembling

"Jack was just trying to be nice to and oh..That ended!" He said raising his voice

I didn't respond..

"So your grounded for a week and you can not see him for 2 weeks..if I catch you two together there's going to be a lot of consequences" My mom said starting to drive

We got home so I decided to text Sean

K- So i'm grounded for a week and I can't see you for 2 weeks..

S-What?! 

 K-Yeah..

S-Give me a second..

K-Wait why?

I heard a knock at the door..oh dear Sean what are you doing

I felt really bad so I decided to go over there and talk to Kaycee's parents..I rang the doorbell and Devon came to the door

"Hey can I  talk to Kaycee's parents?" I asked politely 

"Yeah one second" He said walking around the corner

I felt my heart start to beat as her parents walked to the door

"May I speak with you guys?" I asked trying to be as nice as possible

"Yes you may" Kaycee's dad said gesturing me in

"I wanted to tell you that I do not and will not do anything that will harm your daughter and when I was with her today she was talking about the car crash and if it happened again and she wasn't there for you guys..so I tried to calm her down. She told me about her and Jack back in Washington and I do not ever want to be that guy to her..I do care about Kaycee..and I never want to hurt her..so I understand if you do not want me to see your daughter..just please don't punish her" I said genuinely

They just sat there in silence and looked at me..I looked around and saw Kaycee at the top of the stairs..she heard what I said

"You seem like a great guy Sean..and I now understand that you mean well with my daughter..I just don't want to see her in the state she was when she broke up with Jack..I know you won't hurt her so I will give you consent to see her" Her dad said smiling

"Kaycee! Get down here" Her mom yelled

"You have a very very great friend right here" Her mom said as she walked down the stairs

"I know"  She said smiling

"Oh and your un grounded" Her dad added

"Yay.." She said still looking at me

"Well thank you for listening to me" I said walking slowly out of the door

"Thank you for clearing things up" Her mom said as I closed the door

What Sean did was really thoughtful..and I've never had anyone do that for me..not even Bailey. I run upstairs and quickly climb out of my window over to his room..I run up to him and hug him

"Thank you.." I said still holding him

"You didn't deserve to get punished"  He said rubbing his hand against the back of my head

"You know..even Bailey..my best friend..has never done that for me" I said with my arms still around his torso

"Like I said I never want to hurt you..I don't want to be a Jack..you've been through hell and back and you've only lived here for 2 weeks" He said putting his chin on my head

"You know..Bailey and Ken are throwing a party for her school friends..she asked me to come maybe..I would love if you would come with me..
