(F/N) woke up he was in a dark space, it was empty and completely pitch black. (F/N) looked around it was cold, there appeared to be nothing for miles. He slowly got off the floor, he looked around, his nerves got the better of him, "Hello?"

(F/N)'s voice echoed through empty room, he started to walk around, his footsteps echoed as well. (F/N) broke into a jog, where the hell was he? (F/N) looked for anyone, anything, something, he couldn't be alone here.

(F/N) started to panic, "Someone...Anyone!!!" (F/N) stopped and looked around rapidly he stopped when heard footsteps that weren't his own. He turned around happy that he wasn't alone. (F/N)'s smile quickly faded, he took a deep breath and looked at the android that was in front of him. R.A smiled at (F/N), he was wearing a CyberLife uniform, the man sighed, "You're not real...this is one of Amanda's tricks."

(F/N) turned away from the small android, he closed his eyes and covered them with his hands. R.A's smile faded he spoke softly "Amanda?"

(F/N) started to walk away from the android, he uncovered his eyes, he looked around. (F/N) looked at the empty place with no end, "Why am I here? Do you want to mentally torture me as well? You want me to spend years with my greatest failure?!?!?!?"

R.A frowned and walked up to (F/N), "I brought you here. I thought we needed to talk." (F/N) sighed and looked at the android, his displeasure was very obvious, "You can stop now, I get it. You can show yourself now."

R.A sighed and looked at (F/N), "We're in your head. Amanda has nothing to do with this." (F/N) frowned he looked around the empty space, he expected his head to be...less empty. (F/N) looked at R.A "Why are you here then? You died."

R.A smiled, "I'm the mental interpretation for the bio-components that you have in your brain."

(F/N) frowned, "So you're essentially the bio-components in my brain trying to talk to me?" R.A smiled and nodded, "Would you like me to change my form? This one seems to agitate you."

(F/N) looked at R.A and before he could say anything, R.A erupted into a bright light, and suddenly Chloe stood before him, wearing her classic blue dress and trademark smile. Chloe looked at (F/N) differently, he looked at her confused, Chloe spoke up, "I'm still sensing some anger that you have for this form. Perhaps I should try a different one."

Chloe erupted in a bright light as well. (F/N) had to close his eyes this time, (F/N) opened his eyes again, Markus stood before him now, "Can you just pick a form and stick with it?"

Markus looked at (F/N) with his mismatched eyes, Markus wore a suit the real Markus wouldn't normally wear a suit. The fake Markus nodded his head, "I believe I should try to assume a more familiar form." (F/N) stepped forward and tried to say something but a giant bright light practically blinded him. (F/N) rubbed his eyes, when he looked at where Markus had formally stood his jaw dropped.

He saw Kara smiling at him, (F/N) looked at Kara forgetting that she wasn't the real Kara. But the feeling wore off, she looked nothing like Kara, she was wearing a short black business dress with high heels. It didn't help that her hair was well done and it looked like she was wearing makeup. (F/N) shook his head with annoyance.

Fake Kara walked forward, "I believe this form was the right choice."

(F/N) looked at the supposed Kara, not wanting her to change form again he said "So...what should I call you? Because i'm not calling you Kara."

The mental interpretation seemed caught of guard by the question, she looked down at herself, "Oh...you can just call me....Karen."

(F/N) looked at Karen, she seemed happy with the name she had given herself, she looked back up at him, smoothing out her dress. (F/N) looked around the dark space yet again, "So you said we're in my head? Why is it dark and empty?"

Karen's eyes widened, "Oh, i'm sorry. I was just so eager to talk to you I hadn't figured out all the details. I can fix that." (F/N) looked at Karen's sudden change in attitude, she simply lifted her right hand up and snapped her fingers.

Immediately, the dark room was replaced by a an empty park, (F/N) looked around, he heard the sound of animals and cars, but there was no one there. It just looked like an ordinary park but it was abandoned, (F/N) looked around, this was incredible.

Karen smiled at (F/N)'s curiosity and walked over to him, "I thought it would be best to pick a peaceful setting before we spoke. It was either this or Elijah Kamski's mansion and I know you have...erotic memories about some of the androids there."

(F/N) looked at Karen, he didn't respond to her statement, "Why am I here?" Karen rubbed (F/N)'s shoulder and walked past him, she walked over to a bench under a tree and sat on it, crossing her legs in the process, she patted the seat next to her. The over confident look she had on her face didn't look right on Kara's face.

(F/N) walked over slowly and sat down next to Karen, "Right now, it's November 8, 5:26 P.M. The two medical androids are trying to activate your full power. I decided to talk to you before that happened."

(F/N) swallowed, he shook his head, "What did you want to discuss?" Karen laughed hysterically, it sounded weird with Kara's voice and face. She regained her composure, "You're a smart man, I think you can figure it out."

(F/N) frowned and thought about it, "you wanted to know if I was ready to get that power."

Karen smiled and nodded, "I can see why she likes you, you're very perceptive." (F/N) ignored her he had a confused look on his face. Karen leaned forward, as if begging (F/N) to ask another question, "No offense...but...you're not supposed to have a say in that sort of thing, you're not even supposed to have a mind of your own."

Karen frowned a bit and shrugged, "Throughout the years I grew into...this," Karen gestured to herself with one hand. "I don't know how it happened, maybe a part of your personality bonded with me, it doesn't matter. I'm alive enough to have opinions of my own."

(F/N) nodded and licked his lips, "Then why'd you let Markus and North give me some of the power if you were unsure of me?"

Karen smiled, and looked ahead, she put both of her arms behind the bench, it was creepy to see Kara acting this way. Karen spoke with a calm demeanor, "That was me testing you...you passed by the way."

(F/N) nodded, "So what's keeping you from giving me the rest of the power?" Karen smirked, "Well to be blunt it's your personality."

(F/N) frowned at Karen's bluntness, "What don't you like about me?"

Karen's smile turned into a grave expression she moved her arms off the bench. "Well...let's start with what you've done. Regularly trying to run away from this. Trying to tear off your bio-components. You pass out when things get rough. You're anxiety alone makes me question you."

(F/N) frowned, "Well...I..." (F/N) looked at Karen, she pursed her lips. (F/N) took a deep breath and organized his thoughts, determined to prove her wrong.

(F/N) looked Karen dead in the eyes, he pretended like he was in a job interview, the fact Karen was wearing a black business dress made it easier. "I tried to get to the border because I wanted to be with Kara I was scared for her. I did want to get rid of my bio-components but they've grown on me, I accept they're apart of me. I do pass out, but i'm working on it. As for my anxiety...well I still get the job done."

Karen bit her lip and nodded (F/N) thought she had smirked briefly, "Still...I don't think you're ready." Karen stood up and started to walk away, "Markus will have to lead Jericho."

(F/N) looked at her as she left, she was rejecting him, he couldn't believe it. Slowly the park started to fade back to black emptiness, as Karen's heels clicked against the ground. (F/N) suddenly stood up and shouted out, "NO!" Karen stopped and turned around to look at (F/N), she was frowning now. The park suddenly came back from the darkness, as (F/N) stood up, the park was filled with light and life again.

(F/N) walked up to her, he wasn't going to take this lying down, Karen raised an eyebrow. He spoke in a firm but angry voice:

"I may have stumbled along the way. Yes, I've made mistakes. Yes, there have been setbacks. But did I deal with them...HELL YEAH. Who managed to escape the Detroit Police multiple times I did. Who managed to reverse a memory wipe on an android just by saying a single phrase I did. Who created the first deviant I did. I always managed to get through and come out at the end. And i'll be damned if i'm going to let you tell me that all those sacrifices were for nothing!"

Karen looked at (F/N) as he finished his speech. (F/N) was afraid he had gone to far, did Karen have the power to harm him? He prayed she couldn't actually hurt him.

Karen raised both of her hands and slowly began to clap, she was smiling now, (F/N) looked at her confused. Karen walked up to (F/N) she threw her arms around him. (F/N) hugged her back and awkwardly patted her back. Karen seemed so happy, "There's the (F/N) I was looking for."

Karen broke away, she smiled at (F/N), he looked at her confused, "What?"

Karen laughed again, "I wanted to see if you were serious about helping androids. From what I can tell you are. I was on the fence about you, but after you stood up for yourself and demanded I give you a chance, I was swayed. I'll give you the power. Good work."

(F/N) frowned, he looked at Karen, "Uhhh....thanks." Karen nodded, "Of course, would you like me to send you back now?" (F/N) nodded slowly, "Uhm....yeah...that would be great." Karen smiled and raised her hand ready to snap her fingers, but before she could she suddenly stopped.

Karen put her hand down and spoke like it wasn't a big deal, "By the way...when you wake up, everyone might be freaked out," she laughed a little bit, "comfort them and say you're fine."

(F/N) nodded quickly and gestured for Karen to hurry up, Karen rolled her eyes, "All right. I get it."

Karen raised her hand again, but stopped herself before she could snap her fingers again, "Oh one last thing...Amanda...watch out for her, she's more of a threat than you think...Bye."

(F/N) frowned, "Wait! What do you mean?" (F/N) lunged forward to try and stop Karen but it was to late, she snapped her fingers. It sounded like a whip cracking and a bright light engulfed everything.

---------------------------------

James and John looked at (F/N), they took their hands off of his head, (F/N)'s head went limp, "That should have done it." (F/N)'s eyes had rolled up into his head, James reached down and took the stick out of his mouth. John looked at (F/N)'s body, analyzing him, "He doesn't have a heartbeat!"

Kara pulled her hand away from (F/N), she cupped his face quickly, "NO! NO!" Kara started to cry. Kara yelled at him, looking for any sign of life. Luther walked up to her and grabbed her shoulders, he gently pulled her away from (F/N). Kara was sobbing uncontrollably, Markus stared at (F/N) from across the office, his voice was barely a whisper "No."

John quickly and carefully moved (F/N) to the floor so he was laying down, carefully holding his head. James immediately tore off (F/N)'s shirt and started doing chest compressions. John grabbed a flashlight from the floor, and opened one of (F/N)'s eyes, he waved the light in front of (F/N)'s eyeball. John sighed and turned to James, "No response. Pulse?" James stopped the compressions, he put two of his fingers on (F/N)'s wrist, looking for any sign of life, after awhile he said, "No pulse."

North approached (F/N)'s body hesitantly, "That can't be right. Keep going." John shook his head, "It doesn't matter, I don't know how but the electric current that ran through his brain must have overloaded it."

The room was dead silent as (F/N) layed there motionless, the only sound was Kara crying, Luther hugged her, he was beginning to tear up as well. Markus walked up to North, he couldn't take his eyes of off his dead friend, North turned to him. She tried to remain strong but it was hard to miss the tremble in her voice, "What...What do we do now?"

Markus could barely speak, "I don't..." Markus shook his head repeatedly, he suddenly hugged North. All the androids that were outside of the office, watched in utter shock. There was a sound of rustling in the crowd, Alice had shoved her way to the front of the crowd. She was met by (F/N)'s motionless corpse, she stood there shocked, she looked around and saw Luther holding a crying Kara. Alice quickly ran over to Luther and hugged his leg, she burst into tears as well.

It seemed that the supposed savior of the androids had died when his story had barely begun.

But fate seemed to have other plans.

John turned to look at (F/N) as if he had heard something, John quickly analyzed the mans body, John spoke in an excited tone, "He has a heartbeat." James leaned down and placed his ear on (F/N)'s chest, surely his colleague had been wrong. James was happy to say that he was wrong, sure enough, (F/N)'s chest gave a small thump. James immediately started chest compressions again, "John I need your help now!"

John immediately scurried over to (F/N), "That's impossible...He had no brain activity. How is he coming back to life?"

Kara suddenly broke away from Luther's arms she ran over to (F/N) and knelled down next to him. She smiled tenderly and looked into his closed eyes, "I know you can hear me...I know you can come back."

Kara started to tear up again, "I need you to come back, I can't live without you, (F/N), I need you to come back to me." (F/N)'s eyes suddenly snapped open, he let out a yelp, Kara backed away from him. (F/N) looked like an animal, he sat bolt upright, James and John backed away. (F/N) was twitching everywhere, his eyes where looking over the room as if he was in a completely new place. It looked as if he had drank ten cups of coffee. Markus let go of North slowly, a smile started to grow on his face. (F/N) got up and crawled over to a corner, everyone was staring at him.

(F/N)'s eyes traveled around the room, until he saw Kara kneeling on the ground. (F/N) didn't take his gaze off of her, his breathing eventually returned to normal. Slowly he looked at all the people around him. (F/N) let out a sigh of relief and sat down in his corner, exhausted. As soon as (F/N) sat down, blood started to fall from his nose slowly, but the blood wasn't red, it wasn't even blue, it was a dark shade of magenta.
