Fallin' For You (R5 Fan-fiction)

Chapter 30

Rachel's P.O.V.

I pretended to sleep when they started the karaoke. I, for one, had things to think about. I put on my green headphones and listened to the band I was jammin' to just now, The Click Five.

I heard them rocking out to all of R5 songs through my headphones and I mentally scoffed. I understood why Mark and Stormie quickly put on their ear pieces now...

Garrett Clayton had given me his number and asked me to call him when I reached my hotel. He said something along the lines of gratitude I guess?

It was when I slept, I would think of my future. I was thinking of leaving the boys and girls. Disappear again, ya know?

It was time I went to my grandparents and stayed there with them. Help them get a long and take care of them. Maybe even leave everything I had knew my entire life, just to devote myself to them.

I had found them. The family that I've been searching for all my seventeen years. I wanted to take the place which my parents  couldn't. To take care of them until ripe age. If I couldn't take care of parents, at least theirs.

I really didn't want to leave my friends... The friends I had finally gained after the stuff that happened in high school. I appreciated the memories I have etched deep into my heart.

I had written my plans in a journal and I even discussed it with Raven secretly without the rest knowing. She promised that she would not tell anyone at all. I hope she kept her side of the promise...

However, she did not stand by my decision. She was very reluctant to see me leaving again. However, I promised to visit or write to her every once in a while.

I manged to fall asleep as they continued to rock out in the limo.

The next time I woke up, I felt myself being lifted out of the limo. By who? I wasn't sure until I felt my headphones slip off.

"She's so light..." I heard the person who was carrying me whispered as he placed me on a soft surface.

"I'll go get the stuff, you take care of her." I heard Raven saying as she ran out of the room, closing the door.

I felt my bed dip and a hand caressed my face softly. His fingers were a little rough as he traced the contour of my face.

I was pretending to be asleep, hoping the person would just leave me alone or something.

"If only you knew about my feelings, my love..." I heard him whisper as his hands tuck some of my loose strands behind my ear.

I felt him plant a kiss on my forehead. My breath hitch but I tried my best to act normally like how a sleeping person would. Hey! I'm acting as someone who is asleep!

"Ross! Help with the door damn it!" I hear Rocky shout. Wait... Ross? Ross kissed me?!

The bed dipped again and I hear the door unlocking.

There was a lot of shuffling and I heard bags being placed harshly in the room. That's my cue.

I stretch and rub my eyes. My glasses, my phone and my headphones were on the night stand beside the bed and the covers were sprawled all over the bed.

"When did... we arrive?" I slur out, acting as though I had just woken up.

"Ten minutes ago." Ross said as he carries my green luggage into the room with Ryland, Amethyst and Raven carrying other luggage.

"Okay boys! It's girl time. Thanks with the luggage." Raven said as she cleared them out of the room.

"Did you enjoy your sleep?" Raven asked as she closed the door.

"Yea. Who carried me up here? I must've weighed a ton."

"Ross did." Raven said as she jumped onto the bed beside mine.

"Scratch that, he just carried you all the way up here without anyone saying anything. Talk about initiative to make the move." Amethyst winked at me.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I said as I gave them a look of confusion.

"Rachel... You can be so clueless sometimes..." Amethyst shakes her head at me.

Ross... he just kissed me... What the heck did I get myself into? A few weeks ago, he was crushin' on Raven. Now? This is just... wow...

Who am I kidding... Why would he like me? This is just absolute craziness.

"Did you eat your meds, Amy?"

"What meds?" Raven asked, completely shocked.

"B.D. meds." I said pointing to Amethyst.

"B...D?" Amthyst cocked her hair to one side, frowning in confusion.

"Brain Disorder." I said as I quickly ran away from her when she tried to attack me.

"Mother! Help me!" I laughed out as she tackled me on her bed and started poking me. Raven decided to join me and attempted to tickle me.

"What's going on? So much ruckus here." Haley said, barging into our room, with Rydel behind her, as Amethyst and Raven were in a awkward position on top of me.

"She said I had Brain Disorder!" Amethyst whined.

"Kill her!" Rydel said as she and Haley joined them and tickled me to death.

I was screaming bloody murder with the room door open, and Rydel decided to film me getting tickled to death. Talk about painful...

Soon, Rydel and Haley went back to their room with Raven and after a while of unpacking, Rocky asked to bring Amethyst for a little "date" I would call it.

"Amethyst... You can be so clueless sometimes..." I quoted her, shaking my head.

"Shut up, Rachel." She said, her face blushing uncontrollably.

I stayed in our room after Amethyst left for her "date" with Rocky, I decided to call Garrett. After all, I did promise to give him a ring.

I found his name in my contacts and after a few rings, I could hear his velvet voice answering the phone.

"Hello?" I could hear the shuffling of his feet.

"Hey Garrett...  It's Rachel..." I said, one hand playing with the hem of my shirt.

"Oh you called! I was sort of expecting you to not call me..."

"Well, you asked me to call you..." Shrugging, I grabbed a book from my bag.

"Yeah... about that... Listen..." He trailed off...

"Whats up?"

"How about I treat you to some coffee? Next week, Monday?"

"Did Garrett Clayton just ask me out?"

"Yes. The Garrett Clayton just asked the Rachel Koh out for some fun. You in?"

"Sure."

"Cool! Where's your hotel at?"

"Wyndham Rio Mar... I think that's how you pronounced it? It's a beach resort." I said slowly, as I looked outside.

"Really? I'm in that beach resort too! I'll see you at the entrance at noon, I guess."

"Aite. Ciao!"

I hung up and started to indulge myself in my book until I drifted off into sleep again.
