I have been to Cuba an upwards of 20 times and it literally is the most beautiful place to me. Not to mention how beautiful and loving Cuban people are, honestly. This imagine is dedicated as-well as based off of a wonderful woman named Mia. She, as well as her family have welcomed us with open arms to stay at their home and participate in activities her family holds, for years. She is also a huge MJ fan and I thought it would only make sense to make one for her.

The woman on the far left is Mia! I am considering writing a Spanish version of this so she, along with other Spanish- speaking readers can read this

I am considering writing a Spanish version of this so she, along with other Spanish- speaking readers can read this. I don't know if I'll do a great job though.. But, I'll attempt to if I find the time! (Probably won't went the amount of stories I have decided to create)
Any- who, I hope you enjoy this one!

Flashback: Jackson's Era (Dancing Machine) July, 1974

It was a couple weeks prior to my fathers appreciation day- or something like that. I can't completely recall the whole reason I went to the cigar shop, it has kinda slipped from my mind. But, I'm sure if I asked Jermaine he'd say it was Joesph's appreciation day that we were getting a gift for.

My brothers and I had been getting more and more attention ever since Dancing Machine came out in September of that year. Because of this, Jermaine and I had to wear disguises. Well.. it wasn't much of a disguise, just a baseball cap and sunglasses. I looked ridiculous, not to mention Jermaine.

It really was funny; us boys having these tiny caps on top of our large afros. For some reason, we went out regardless. I think it was because we needed to get out. I desperately wanted to interact and explore my neighbourhood and so did Jermaine.

Our head of security; Bill chuckled at us on the way out. Jermaine had assured him that we would be fine- which he was right for thinking, we lived in an area that was full of celebrities, where seeing the Jackson's wasn't too much of a surprise to anyone who lived near us. Bill insisted on following us- just in case.

I really enjoyed the walk to the strip. We would always pass nice houses and establishments, there were kids riding on bikes and couples walking along side each-other. Walking amongst people really made me feel normal. You know, like, I have been chased after ever since I was a young boy.. just walking along side others and not being treated as an exotic animal at a zoo was really enjoyable for me. I truly miss that, when I was able to feel normal and still do my craft, even if it was for a brief moment.

Anyways, once we made it to the shopping thingy, where there were a large amount of shops beside one another- we were stuck. We had focused so much on getting out of the house and having an excuse to do so, that we hadn't thought of the gift we would purchase.

I remember we all stood in front of this photography shop. I had peered in through the glass and caught a glimpse of this shiny red camera. "Maybe he'd like a camera, what do ya think?" I said as I glanced back at Jermaine before continuing my gaze at the camera.
